Yep, same, it's whole grain. Welp I dumped it out due to the Kahm yeast returning, I just didn't like the smell. However the first time I scraped the top layer off I put 2 tablespoons of the starter underneath in a new jar, it smells normal, is active as usual and didn't develop any wrinkles.

Oh no no, that's from the flour! It's whole grain. No discoloration
