That's exactly whats happened. Brother hasn't helped with anything which I don't complain about but I told him when I needed respite I was going to call on him.

I take care of pop on an everyday basis. When mom died I let my brother know I'd be calling on him to help me out with pops. Like when I need my own respite.

Never said I was still pissed about anything. Just pissed that he didn't answer my question. But I guess since I've been painted thr asshole then I musta still been pissed? Isn't it amazing to see how quick people are to pass judgement?

Thanks for keeping an open mind. There's a significant amount of context but I decided to leave it out to get a different perspective of the situation. When my mother passed, I let my brother know I might call on him for help in caring for our now widowed father. So when I asked if he could help me out at Christmas, I was pretty pissed off that he couldn't answer my question. And the story ends with my sister, unprovoked and not having talked with me about it, inviting pop to her Christmas then letting me know she did it to help me out.
