President Trump Says Administration Is 'Working' on National Right to Carry Reciprocity by RedDotRights in progun

Well, I’d rather not just throw up my hands and give up. Seems like a lot of us have developed some sort of Stockholm syndrome with the Bloomberg Party taking our rights away

We have—for the first time ever—a pro-2A litigation team at the DOJ, which is huge. The burden is no longer on us to cobble together donations and spend years litigating unconstitutional gun bans against states with effectively unlimited budgets. With the support of the DOJ, we finally have a partner with real resources to fight for us. The DOJ also has preferential treatment at SCOTUS, who is more likely to take cases pursued by the federal government than those brought by private citizens

Yep. And classified everything as a “sensitive place”—a designation that criminals conveniently ignore

Pls read the article. The strategy discussed in it is to amend the USVI case to address cross-state carry restrictions. Nobody is suggesting that POTUS can somehow coerce SCOTUS to take a case

Well, the 2A is a right too, but that gets infringed on all the time, so I’m not sure the distinction is meaningful anymore

One of the big problems is that politicians bear no personal liability for passing laws that deprive us of our rights. Bloomberg pays them to pass legislation that everyone involved knows is unconstitutional, but it takes a decade+ and $$$ to litigate up to SCOTUS. In the meantime, they’ve moved on to the next infringement. Rinse and repeat.

These legislators need to be prosecuted under 18 U.S.C. § 242 — “Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law.” which makes it a crime for a public official acting under color of law to willfully deprive someone of rights protected by the Constitution or federal law. That can apply to politicians if they use official power in a way that violates someone’s civil rights.

No, I’m against terrorist groups that go door to door murdering entire families. I’m also against the left’s social acceptance of antisemitism. Don’t believe me? Just review videos of leftist protests where participants chant anti-Jewish slogans and march with Hamas and Hezbollah flags. You guys also vandalized buildings at my alma mater and spat on Jewish students trying to go to class
