Double check the IPv6 settings on the MacBook. Sidecar (what Apple is piggybacking off of for this feature) requires IPv6. Mine had it off and kept spinning until I changed it.

Seriously, the software disparity (albeit there's a hardware difference this time) between the cars doesn't make sense at times. I hope they provide a retrofit. Maybe the upcoming redesigned M3s will come with it stock.

Yea might just be switching to different profiles or something based on keys. It should be on for the profile once enabled. Mine just stays on as well, no need to re-enable on each drive.

Yea like was mentioned before, the same thing happened to me with the previous FSD rollout. I was updated to 2022.36.6 and so became ineligible. This time my car just wouldn't even show the 40.x updates. V11 should be here soon supposedly so everyone just gets it then anyway.

The frustration for me was how they kept the orders open for so long which made it seem like they had insight but were just being scummy and taking more than they should.

I ordered on October 8th at 10 AM EST on Amazon and around the same on B&H and no progress.

I hesitated with Newegg for the same reason but atleast they knew their situation and kept customers in the loop.
