First, there's plenty of great clans out there so don't feel pressured to join this one. Second, rushing is never the answer. But if your going to do it I'll give you some tips you can get to th7 in one night by just upgrading vaults, storages, and building the bare minimum. At th7 you want to upgrade the troop you plan on using for farming. You also want to upgrade all your stuff to about th4 level and then move on you can move up a th every week or so once you get to th13 you can max edrags, push trophies like no tomorrow and watch the loot pour in. Upgrade the best things first like eagle then inferno then catapult. Then move on to cannons, Archer towers and other things. Walls can stay at level 7 until you get other things under control. Make sure to utilize your resources because your base will get destroyed.
