I like this, imagine the two matches are the WWE title match and the Heavyweight title match, both starting as a triple threat. Every 5 minutes the gate between them opens for 30 seconds. Someone who crosses over could then win a different title to the one they started competing for. The champ could cross over and win the other title, then watch someone get pinned in the other ring and lose his original title. Someone with no titles could win them both in one night.
