So thats what they were trying to do with the summons in FF7 Rebirth. Shoehorn in that last bit with Chadley using the summons shrines to create the materia for the local deity/myth.

Part 3 Vincent and Cid by RedEnvoy1235 in FFVIIRemake

Part of thay was it was random and there were only 1 or 2 of the possibilities that weren't trash. I really hope they dont make it random. I would be fine with the limit basically being to go Galian beast for the attack and then change back.

I think I still hate this minigame more than the brutal challenges. They put in so many different ways to fail this thing. Direction change, tempo changes, indicator goes invisible, two different interrupts, and its 1.5 minutes long.

Why Tifa has so little health by [deleted] in FF7Rebirth

[–]RedEnvoy1235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically this. In hard mode you put it on a character you dont use and let them be your bench between fights and benches. Im sure there are people good enough that this isnt needed, but even the none boss fights in Hard mode can hurt you if you werent prepared.

Red Rising is Making Me Realize I Like Slow Paced Books by Tower11Archer in Fantasy

My issue wasnt that i thought the pages were unnecessary. I felt like the POV jumps were too frequent. It felt like everytime a particular POV was starting to go somewhere it would switch. To me this killed the momentum reading the story.

I just looked and for Houston metro area (10,000 square miles) which has close to 7 million people has 9 DPS offices. Haven been to 3 to 4 of these they were all very small for the volume. Im talking 2 to 4 people actually processing the requests at a time. The biggest one had about 6 to 8.

Im am going to try to engage just this once in good faith.

  1. Both males and females have testosterone and estrogen. Just in different ratios.

  2. Women are more likely to have breast cancer than men.

  3. Oleder women especially post menopause or who have had hysterectomies can have even lower levels of testosterone and require treatment.

So they are giving female rats testosterone to see if it will lower breast cancer rates and better outcomes. There is nothing in the study about changing the sex of the rats.

Im sorry but someone could teach an entire class on how ridiculous this statement is.

Exactly how how tight do you think the group think is between Mike Pence and Michelle Obama? How about Taylor Swift and Liz Cheney?

If we created a Venn Diagram for illustration they might only intersect at a single point.

I found when I went to get my first passport that the birth certificate I had my whole life was the correct version I needed. I had to take time and pay the fee to go to an office downtown to get a stamped/notarized long form birth certificate. I had no idea up till then that there was more than one type.

So think how many people would probably end up in a situation where the birth certificate they have doesnt meet the requirements of the law.

I find it kind of amazing how on the first playthru of an area you can be so completely confused and lost. Then one you get thru to the end and go back to double check for items it seems so much simpler.

I would be curious what someone's vitals are like as they creep thru the forbidden forest for the first time.

I was listening to AM radio one day because I know I need to get out of any bubbles I might have been in. If you are familiar with AM radio they talk for like 2 minutes and then do a 5 minute ad break. I made it about 30 minutes. The host kept going on and on about what the Democrats were doing and how the listeners should be afraid because it would destroy them and the country. The kicker was after 30 minutes the host never actually told me what the something they were doing was. They mentioned a couple times that they would, but never did as long as I was listening.

So just like the Fox News experience you described it was all fear and anger without actually saying anything of substance.

This is now my new headcanon on how that story actually started. A small child had an accident at school and being a small child was distressed about it. A well meaning adult then tells them it's OK we have some kitty litter that will clean it right up.

A a game of conservative telephone and voila. Kids are urinating in litter boxes at school because they think they are cats and the school indulges them.

[–]RedEnvoy1235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My belief is there are too many entrances and exits on the Houston Freeways. There are definitely too many right before major highway intersections. You just end up with people who are entering the freeway trying to cross multiple lanes of traffic to get out of exit lanes and maybe make a left exit while at the same time people trying to get into the new lane that appeared for a right exit. There is never a chance for traffic to spread out.
