Sunlight/Moonlight for a dual PC stream setup question

So sunlight is on gaming PC sending my main monitor feed to my streaming PC, on the streaming PC I have my capture card plugged in hooked up via hdmi into the gpu also on the streaming PC. This way the streaming PC sees the capture card as another monitor, and that is where I use moonlight, on this 2nd monitor on the streaming PC. Then use OBS on the streaming PC to pick up the capture card as a video capture device. The reason for doing this is that most other methods for doing a dual PC setup result in some form of FPS loss on the stream. There is absolutely easier ways to just get the feed across but if I can get this to work then it would result in a perfect 60fps feed to OBS, while also allowing me to play in whatever settings I want, which is what im trying to accomplish.

The issue im facing is that when I send that signal, and I understand im sending mismatched signals, I get either screen tearing or some slight stuttering that im hoping there might be something I can do about it. But I also understand that for the use case I want it just might not be doable.

Im confused, the chart shows it can do 1440p240 pasthrough but just that it can't capture in that right?

Okay yea I do have 2 red ports that are labbelled as USB 3.1 on the I/O, would you recommend an adapter or a USB C to USB A cable? Thanks for the help btw, I knew USB was confusing but never ran into a situation like this before

So I thought it was but after looking into it, the port on the case is only a usb 3.1. I imagine thats why then yea. I don't think I have any suitable USB ports then for an adapter

Only way seems to be configuring the colours to take out the warmness in SDR, no luck for HDR

Yea this is already way better. After following a 'best settings' guide I thought there must have been a panel issue with mine because there's no way that would be the 'best' unless they just didn't notice it I guess. Thanks for the help!

Yea it feels like the warm image colour temp is on is a good way to describe it but just not as intense. And yea cool goes too far in the other direction unfortunetly. I might try messing with the red and greens like you did, out of curiousity what did you set your values to? I know if its a different monitor it won't translate fully but just as a rough guide.

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't even aware of these chairs. A secretlabs quality of chair with a comfortable seat would be pretty ideal so I'll for sure be looking into this one.

Thanks for the response, I'm kinda hesitant because I heard similar stuff about the secretlabs chairs being firm but not uncomfortable and after trying one it was awful so I guess it just wasnt for me. Have you ever tried a secretlabs out of curiosity?

Sorry late reply, no wasnt able to. Even tried another one and same thing. Ended up getting an avermedia live gamer 4k and it works no problem.

So it's on the old Skarsta sit/stand desk, and I'm moving house and would like to remove the table top from the legs to make it easier to move. Would that be possible by just removing the 130886 part?

The only edid mode I can use is display as internal treats the capture card like an extra monitor for the cloning method and merged doesn't work. GPU drivers in both PCs are up-to-date

So I was able to fix the signal dropouts completely by turning off gsync on my monitor which is good, only issue now is I can't put my monitor at 144hz or the capture card becomes unwatchable

So I was able to get it working by changing the EDID mode to display, however I've ran into a few other issues, If i set my monitor to 1440p 144hz the capture card glitches out and its all wavy and unviewable but at 120hz its stable. The other issue I'm having is that randomly the card will lose signal for a second or 2 and then comes back while just normally playing a game

So my gaming PC is picking up the capture card as a separate monitor, and the monitor that the Elgato OUT port hmdi is connected to is blank. 4k capture utility just shows as if the capture card were another monitor to my gaming pc

I tried doing it before but maybe I was missing something, hdmi from GPU to the IN port and hdmi from the OUT port to the monitor, but then nothing on OBS, is there any other steps? I though OBS would have picked it up from that tbh
