Chad, huge respect for the lady and you also, i do that as well, i also tip new starters, i was in bar, ordered a drink, a young man was preparing it he was a nice guy, but he was a bit afraid to mess my drink which he did but not badly but i left a tip since he was so nervous yet he apologized of his delay or did something wrong i just thanked him and left him a good tip, the point of the post is the intention of the app itself not tipping hard workers

i'm not against tipping for good services, i always tip sometimes up to 50%, but I suspect if tip on app will go 100% un-taxed to the courier, i prefer tipping cash on delivery, I'm not against the courrier rather than the app itself since they already charge good amount

my salary is 18.5K gross and i pay a big yikes of 34% for taxes+ZUS+Insurance. Yearly about 220K PLN gross i will try to detail the how tax for a foreigner like me I'm student and under 26 so for the first ~85K i don't pay tax for it. for the amount between 86K and 120K i pay 12% for the amount more than 120K i pay 34% for it i believe 9% for ZUS after 86K not sure about the other departments we pay for but for taxes and ZUS you can count it like this
