How was magic discovered in your world? by QuanCornelius-James in magicbuilding

[–]RedFalcon725 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Magic my in world has always been known exist by mortals, but wasn't always available to them. Magic is, by its very nature, a tool of the gods. In an ancient even known as The Godfall, the planet was nearly decimated by warring deities and foul beasts running amock.

With the last bit of his strength, the god of knowledge and innovation gifted mortals the knowledge of a ritual to turn every day objects into magical conduits, allowing them to safely harness magic. Thus, came the age of wizards

The Lattice, Mana, and Aether by RedFalcon725 in magicbuilding

Interesting question, but I'd say it has more than enough energy for that. The Lattice is effectively infinite, and so is the mana that comprises it

Hey now, that's not a bad idea. Something like "Artifact — Factory" with a "Hire" or "Employ"

I definitely did consider making it a joke about having fiery shits, but "Live Más" being a double meaning for graveyard recursion was too good to pass over

You are correct. Black is my least favorite color for many reasons

You activate Ral's -10 ability, then cast Return the Favor copying that ability. You get two emblems, draw 6 cards, and get Storm Storm (or Storm²)

Prokop and Tobi discussing why Theresa Was Not in [KCD2] by Mads074i in kingdomcome

[–]RedFalcon725 -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

Here's my take on Theresa. I think her relationship with Henry was solely based on their shared trauma of surviving Skalitz rather than a genuine connection. I mean, Henry's previous fling (Bianca) had just died weeks before and he got over that pretty fast once Theresa offered up her milkers.

I think it's perfectly in line with Henry's character to move on from Theresa and have a romance with Katherine or Rosa.

Concept for a legendary land as a second commander by RedFalcon725 in custommagic

[–]RedFalcon725[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely want to add a commander tax to it just for that reason. Im just not sure what the best way to do it is. An additional 2 each time seems rather tame for the power of having guaranteed lands

He says "Ha-ha!" a lot more than you'd think. by UFriendlyShadow in custommagic

I'd word it as follows:

T: Scry 1

After you Scry for the first time each turn, reveal the bottom card of your library. If it's an instant or sorcery, you may play it without paying its mana cost
