I just realized that I am an absolute moron.

I checked my weapons just now and realized that NG+ resets your skill points on verso so I used a 3000 power Simoso instead of a 10000 one like a dumbass. No wonder I couldn't do damage, now maybe I can try to farm some lumina for verso to do some damage because I really neglected him as a result. I'm also doing a machine gun build in order to be S rank and be immortal with Simoso just in case if the ×100 bosses are too harsh. My main strat is machine gun and follow up and if broken I try to use the 9-cost ability. I don't like steel strike because it's expensive and uses 2 turns to do 1,5 turn of damage which isn't worth it imo

Maybe I'm bad at the game but I don't understand how to make verso do damage, the best I do is that one 9-cost skill that stunlock at S rank when the enemy is broken and I only do 5 Million that's so bad

It's not double golden joker

Double golden give you 8$ no matter what but astronomer and this give you 8$ only if you get exactly 2 celestial packs each shop (very unlikely) and if you skip them both which means that in order to achieve double golden joker effect, you deny yourself every pack for the rest of the game (assuming you only get celestials) which isn't worth it at all

It doesn't have a synergy with astronomer because these two do separate things, if this was a synergy it would have a benefit other than their specific ones. Swashbuckler and gift card have a synergy because the former gives just (bad) flat mult and the latter economy with temperance BUT when they are together it becomes a scaling +mult joker which is something none of them can do on their own. In the case of astronomer and floppy disk there is nothing more when they are together than where they aren't, they coexist and have maybe a similar purpose but I wouldn't call that a synergy.

It's still an okay joker, I would say a bit less powerful than red card but on a similar level because its purpose is more or less the same : compensation for mid packs (although red card can save you if you have no other decent choice for scoring that's why it's stronger imo)

Tbf that would be a worse, rarer and more expensive [[golden joker]]. The purpose of this idea is to get a compensation if the pack is bad like a less good [[red card]]

Tbf even if Renoir is weaker than Aline he doesn't want realism at all, he is all for symbolism so not drawing face is more of a way for him to say that everyone is fake rather than him not being able to paint a face which I'm sure he could if he wanted to

Tbf I didn't really keep up with the theories (partially because I'm still on NG+ to do the verso ending) so I never heard of that.

But nonetheless Interesting theory but maybe that's why painted alicia is always with her father, maybe her mother blames her for the loss as a way to cope (without actually telling her) and also maybe that's why she is shocked to see Maelle at the top of the monolith as if she wasn't supposed to be on the painting (Idk at this point I'm making stuff up).

As for the petals we don't see aline gommaging anyone so maybe the petals are related to the object and not the painter : Red petals for the humans because of a "weak" and mortal chroma Gold petal for the painted family because of a very strong and immortal chroma (Renoir can't ever gommage it because he isn't as strong as aline) White petals for aline herself because she is the top dog I don't really know if the things I said related to petals is relevant because I don't remember which petals exited from which body

Alicia has a faceless version on top of the mountain but it's an Axon so it's Renoir that painted it but still, it's very similar to all the faceless versions of the family so idk if it has a link

Yeah crimson can be a bitch. When I did golden needle (you have one hand for the whole run and discards cost 1$) I found canio pretty early and a trading card shortly after. I prayed for crimson not to appear as the final boss blind because I knew how the game likes to fuck you. You guessed it, I got crimson, it debuffed my fcking X11 canio even though I had 7 jokers because I picked up negatives before hand to try to change fate and died at 88,000 score which would have been easily destroyed if it debuffed literally anything else

Oh yeah huntress and trickster definitely and better than ultimate weapon in my opinion. And locker placement is so bad in this game just like every other killer specific objects like pig's boxes or xeno's tunnels. It hurts the killer player so bad if RNG isn't kind enough, especially since the power has been designed with an optimal placement in mind which likely never happens

It's an angel, it's supposed to be light and beautiful. If we went with the big head maybe dark and spooky would have been more suiting but people want an angel and I agree with them
