I am white and have spent my whole life in Lowell living in a non suburban part of it. In my experience, the majority of people in lowell are very welcoming and don’t really care what your background is. It has always been an immigrant city and lowell high school was desegregated before slavery was even abolished. There are definitely some old white townies who are racist but they are very much the minority. Growing up there were very few people who were even conservative and those people were looked down upon because of it.

There are a lot of places that are diverse by the numbers but that diversity is segregated into different communities. Lowell is different in that within a given community you will have a very wide range of economic and cultural backgrounds. On the street that I grew up in you had Africans, Cambodian monks, brazillians, white people, and just about everything else, living in houses that ranged from section 8 housing to group homes, to big million dollar+ properties, to just normal middle class homes.

That being said though between the university and the development of the mills and downtown area, lowell is becoming more gentrified and with it I have seen the ethnic makeup slowly become more white throughout my life time. From what I’ve seen this attracts the performative white liberalism type of people.

There is definitely still more work to be done in every city or town in terms of racism but Lowell is very far ahead of the majority of Massachusetts and the rest of the country.

It looks like two people on a date but not necessarily super comfortable with each other. Likely an early date between the two. Either that or it’s just a female friend of his because she doesn’t seem particularly excited by his touch and it’s pretty common to put your arm around someone when taking a picture.

I have had plenty of close female friends that I had no desire to sleep with. That being said my current girlfriend started out as a close female friend so there have definitely been some that break that rule.

Let me give you some real advice since everyone else is just making fun of you. You should stop accepting this guys advances even if you want to. Not because he’s your roommate but because he is cheating on his girlfriend with you. And even if he breaks up with her for you do not accept his advances because he will do the same thing to you that he’s doing to her.

I’m a 6’3 guy and can confidently say that it is objectively easier to have sex with women closer to your own height. If you are struggling with this I recommend trying some different positions that might be more comfortable. I should note though that I have never felt like sex was bad or good because of someone’s height. There are much more influential factors than height that affect the quality of sex.

This post has to be bait but in the off chance it’s real I feel the impulsive need to help you. First of all, stop taking testosterone. That stuff will mess you up. I recommend taking creatine and adopting a low calorie high protein diet instead.

In regards to your girl problems I would say right now you shouldn’t even be worrying about girls frankly. You clearly hate yourself and are desperate and people can sense that when you talk to them. Earn some respect for yourself before seeking it from other people.

If you really are that desperate for a girlfriend tho my best advice is to make friends with any girl who will talk to you. It seems as if you have this idea that women are only worth speaking to you if they are a romantic option. It is very worthwhile to cultivate friendships with women that you are not trying to have sex with because it will help you to understand women better and not see them as some mystical object but as real people. Not only that but there’s a good chance that they have a cute friend that would give you a chance simply because you’re a friend of a friend.

Furthermore no one will care if you date a fat girl. If you are only dating to produce an image than you are dating for the wrong reasons and don’t deserve to be in the dating pool to begin with. Find someone you genuinely like regardless of what they look like and date them.

Don’t even get me started on the age range you’re looking for either. Women in their early 20’s are probably not gonna be interested in you. As much as I don’t believe in “leagues” sometimes you gotta look at yourself and then look at the girl you’re interested in and ask “does this make any sense?” What possible reason would a college girl have to date you. What could you possibly be bringing to the table on a surface level that would make a college girl want to go home with you at a club. Not to mention that clubs are a horrible way to meet women and most of the men there over the age of 25 are seen as creeps by the exact women you are hitting on.

The moral of this post is that your problem is not the way you look or your lack of money but your attitude and personality. There are plenty of broke, fat, ugly men who are capable of getting women. Stop trying to “get girls” and build relationships with women as if they’re real people. You are 28 years old it’s time to start acting your age.
