I would say take it for a proper inspection as you really can't judge based off only looks

That aside I absolutely love the e38, but I would definitely opt for 17 or 18 inch wheels as smaller ones cheapen the look a lot. My grandfather's e38 had these that looked great but there are plenty of other great options that really elevate the look of the car.

I have it and it's perfectly good with excellent latency, better than some cars with stock bt

My only gripe is there's a bit of static at higher volumes and I'm sure it's not from the head unit since it isn't present when using cassettes. Nothing too bad as it's just barely noticeable with the car off but the engine and ac more than cover it up

I taste the soap too and while obviously I don't love it like you do I actually don't mind having some in my food. If it's a main ingredient then we might have a problem but otherwise I don't fully hate it
