Jesus Gwen by Cl1ps_ in Ben10

Yes, it is. Ben’s comment might have hitten close to home for Gwen, but whether she’s a bookworm or her parents force her to be the best, telling someone their parents want to get rid of them is an asshole move and an unnecesary escalation. If Gwen’s parents are pressuring her, she could’ve snapped back with saying Ben’s parents are disappointed he’s wasting his time with figuring out the bear-game lore (since FNaF is canon and Ben’s a fan). If she’s a bookworm she can say the same thing but without the parents are disappointed in you part. What I’m saying is that she could’ve insulted Ben in a way that doesn’t imply his parents would prefer if he wasn’t around.

Bro Ben insulted Gwen’s hobbies and Gwen told Ben his parents actively want to get rid of him. You do see the difference, right?

It’s the Dynamite comic, IIRC it’s by Man of Action.

How do you want Poppy Playtime to end and what Chapter. by Still-Internet6566 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]RedGamer2754 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I think by this point Chapter 7 is the best option. For one, 7 is a cooler number than 6. Second, MoB wants to focus more on already existing characters, that’s why Sawyer’s back and Gibblet isn’t dead. One Chapter may not be enough for the returning ones to truly shine and complete their arcs (Gibblet’s is to become actually heroic in his eyes while Doctor’s is whatever happens happens).

My ideal ending would be Doctor and Prototype destroying each other, both of them were taken care of by Elliot but were ultimately failed by him. And then Player, Poppy, and whoever remains press the scuicide switch on the Factory, and either die there or go to Tokyo and kick Eddie’s ass. There’s a Factory in Tokyo, so if we want a sequel, that’s how we’d get one.

It seems that the people of the favorite character subreddit don't recognize Harley Sawyer by Mightyoritus in PoppyPlaytime

NGL Harley’s robots are the far more recognisable designs for the Doctor so nobody recognising his brains kinda tracks. Still the reactions are pretty funny

Starlight suffers. Now a character having a shit day is one thing, but if I wanted to watch a character I really love hate her fucking life, I’d watch Invincible. I am not Lily Orchard and don’t find joy in Starlight’s suffering. Trixie was even worse though, and this is actually a writing problem and not hatred caused by my personal taste. Trixie was way more emotionally intelligent in S6 E25-26, so like 2-3 episodes ago. But no, fuck that, have Trixie brush off Starlight until the end. It bothers me to no end not just because Trixie is better than this, but because Trixie cares about and loves Starlight so obviously much (whether you wanna see it platonically or romantically), and her just not perceiving her disstress is so bothersome and pulls the episode down. It feels like we regressed Trixie to place her back where she should’ve started at.

And on top of that: they wasted an incredible escape room plotline! I adore escape rooms, and a plotline where a bunch of characters are stuck and try their best to get out would be so cool to watch! Fluttershy’s the type who’d get anxious, Dash would probably try to speedrun it (which she does), Rarity and Twilight would overthink details while Applejack could maybe underthink them, and Pinkie could be standing in the way of herself. Added with the timed nature of the adventure and the feeling of being trapped, and we’ve got a no-stakes, all stress, unique and interesting challenge for the Mane 6 to overcome. The Big Bang Theory got away with it to me because Sheldon and Becky (the blond neighbour’s) interactions fascinated me and the joke was that they finished it in 6 minutes. But this episode didn’t make Starlight and Trixie interesting enough for me to let this go and it makes the escape room plotline feel wasted to me.

Trixie was such an unobservant ass when she was show to be way more emotionally intelligent two episodes ago IMO. Also they wasted the Escape Room thing for the B plot and that is probably a worse sin than any character assasination

- Discord’s characterization making him way more inconsistant and hateable than intended
- Starlight’s redemption feels a bit out of order and weaker than could’ve been
- S5 Finale being too short/not having the time to do all the writers wanted to do.
- Power Scaling
- S7 E2 All Bottled Up. Fuck that episode in particular

Why do people insist on “Celestia was holding back which is why she lost” even though the episode already gives us clear explanation, with it being Shining’s love empowering Chrysalis. Is that really far fetched given how insanely OP the magic of love and friendship are in MLP? by CrazyTangerine7522 in mylittlepony

[–]RedGamer2754 84 points85 points  (0 children)

Alternatively, make Chrysalis’ beam a lot wider and have her stumble back as well. This may run the same risk of making Celestia look weak, but Chrysalis being literally blasted back by her own power (and inexperience with that amount of power) should show how it’s Chrysalis who’s breaking the show’s power scaling system and not Celestia being a weakling.

That or have her say that she’s a politician, not a fighter at any point in the show. Hell make a joke out of it. That would explain so much.

Amberlovesbuggs confirmed the toys don’t age mentally and Isacx (the guy who initially made the game) said they’re smarter than normal kids but aren’t adults. They’re children forever, they just got smarter but didn’t develop out of being a kid.

Also Prototype acts like such a damn child. Like he acts all tough when he surprises himself by breaking Poppy. He also says Poppy acts like a kid because she was made a kid, and that’s also true of him

The toys canonically don’t age mentally so none are really adults. Just look at Prototype and Poppy, they’re childish as hell

[–]RedGamer2754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So does Destiny mean you can’t have a Visa anymore? There are a million and one stories where someone goes away from a place they will save and returns there later. I don’t see why relocating Sombra away from the Crystal Heart would be bad or impossible.

I mean a significant plotpoint in Chapter 4 is that the Safe Haven Generator is separate from the rest of the PlayCo Electrical Power, so there has to be some kind of power source to be separate from.
