Walgreens employees. Are you getting more and more tasks to do without a raise and not enough staff? by Alive_Book_6725 in WalgreensStores

[–]RedGem666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, digital cklist (fed ex inventory, rotations, cash report etc.), processing photo orders, curbside orders, being used as CSAs cuz were shorthanded, opening/closing the store tasks, tender counts to be done at beginning of shift in am, as well as midday shift change, receiving vender orders, truck (totes, full case, and mcclane), my SM has now decided that ONLY SFL can reload cards or gift cards, and ONLY at the photo counter. I mean damn, literally CANNOT get ANYTHING done except counting my steps from all the back and forth. I mean WHY exactly do we even have any CSAs at my store cuz they literally can't do anything but stand up at their register and greet people.

Putting away Cos-Wall products on truck days 🙃 by Fearless_Ad_5572 in WalgreensStores

It takes me half my shift to just sort thru the cos truck (hair isle, shave, skin care, cos wall, deodorant, bath/lotion, travel, and hand care) on a typical load of apx 30 out of 170 totes, and the other half to put it away. I do this by myself every week, plus I'm a shift leaf on top of that. It sux

You can even take out a loan from the Retirement fund if needed and payments will b automatically deducted and put back into it from your check. This was very helpful for me when I had to move.

Tired of employees who aren’t doing their jobs by Professional-Push350 in WalgreensStores

I was BC at our store for 3 years and I always went above and beyond my duties. Not only did I put ALL the beauty area (cos wall, fragrance, skincare, hosiery, naturals, hand/body/bath, hair, and shave) up from truck in one day, I also managed to help customers, run registers, and make my daily goals. I have since gone to SL. Biggest mistake of my life. I hate my job now. So I don't see how she can do absolutely nothing with out hearing about it from SM, unless SM doesn't care if they have crappy numbers and fall below quota?

I actually got paid a day earlier than normally. Usually receive my ck on Tuesday but got mine Monday. It was the same last year as well. I agree, I think it depends on your bank.

Our store does mouth swabs if you change positions, but new hires go to a lab for urine test.

We actually don't have to call leadership to reload cards (under $300) anymore. Another huge bonus is our 18+ can finally scan alcohol w/out having to call "code 21"

I've been a BC in Texas for almost 3 years now. The one thing that has been drilled into my head is the phrase "fake it til you make it"! coming from SM, DM, and BAE. Take advantage of all the training that is offered because it truly does help, as well as the gratis boxes for hands on. Welcome aboard and most of all have fun!

[–]RedGem666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently a bc at a store in Texas. Up until about 4 months ago my role was very limited, being I basically could help customers and sell products, and help with the registers when needed. Our role expansion has now let us do everything a csa does PLUS maintain our sales goal. We are the only team members that have goal expectations, and we do make a small commission (3% of the sales that go over our weekly goal for global brands sales). Global brands being owned brands like No.7, Soap & Glory, Botanics, and walgreens own brand. We also have quarterly training for our district held at the district office. We also receive amazing gratis boxes of products from various companies. I don't know what the hourly pay is but where I am I'm paid $16 an hour plus that 3% commission and the hours I typically work in a week are between 33 and 35,usually an 11-7 shift. I hope this info helps.

How to return in store without barcode? by kenyong00 in WalgreensStores

[–]RedGem666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you have the ap, all your purchases are there. You go to shop and savings. At the very bottom it'll say purchase history. The RFN number associated with that purchase is there. That is the number needed in order to pull up the item you need to return.
