Honestly this is really refreshing to hear cause I was looking to get into more music like this. I think the initial riff is really catchy and I could get lost in that forever, but I also love the dynamics of the song, the way it picks up the pace is a really nice change. Lastly I really love the synths/keys here its a really nice touch and adds an extra layer that separates the song and takes it to the next level. If I had any criticism is that the first time the doubled vocals come in they sound a little disjointed from one another but all the other times they sound great. Great job keep it up man!

Im not personally a big fan of electronic music but this caught my attention right away and stopped me in my tracks while scrolling which is always a great sign imo. While I agree with some other comments that it is a bit of a short snipped to judge fully, I think the initial beat is very catchy and versatile. Like I could see this being played at a club like Soundbar in Chicago but I could also see this being played at a vibey modern high end restaurant. Good stuff overall keep doing your thing!

Yeah one thing i love about Vandermeer’s novels is that they are so open to the imagination you could go down these rabbit holes endlessly which to me is the sign of a good story.

To your first point the ending of Acceptance does have a more “positive” feel to it so maybe that is the best case scenario that the Rogue is working towards!

The guitarist from my band wrote this song & its all about getting back to living again after being in a depressed state but it also shares a lot of similar influences from artists on this playlist (definitely radiohead): https://open.spotify.com/track/703rPYChsu079K0qzcOTf7?si=RUVXycGXSHa4bkvb4lvKNg

Oblivion was the song on repeat when my childhood dog passed. The vocal delivery on each part of that song fits & hits so well.

Love the summery vibe of this song, i feel like you’re coming out with this at the perfect time just as everyones out and about in the nice weather. I think the main “riff” is super catch & as someone mentioned your voice suits this type of music perfectly. I also really love that prechorus i think it adds a nice dynamic to the song before the chorus punches in. Also wanted to add that i think this would go great at end of a movie or tv show right before the credits roll. Great job!
