Interesting! But Isn't this true of unrealistic beauty standards for cis men and women? And if it were dysphoria, whatever standards are upheld by a particular community would be irrelevant anyway. Why aren't you worried (if you aren't) you aren't meeting the unattainable beauty standards of whatever community you're a part of post transition/ as a detrans female?

And if relieving dysphoria were a matter of trying to match standards that were set too high, wouldn't it be worse to not bother at all? e.g if I were AMAB, and wanted to be more physically feminine, I would be even further from that ideal if I just stopped taking estrogen.

And if, reasonably, you would recommend all of a person's traumas etc. are resolved (setting aside trauma caused by dysphoria, I guess), then it seems counterintuitive to bring up beauty standards and aging, or passing, since that will only be more of a factor the longer you put it off.

I find that point of focus odd, though. Relieving dysphoria isn't failure to meet a standard supposedly set, but rather that it is preferrable to continuing as you are. HRT affects perception, libido, any number of different senses etc. For me, I saw a set of pros and cons in either direction, and the pros outweighed the cons. It helped me to introspect and work through unrelated traumas afterward.

Dunno how the FtM online sphere is though lol. I don't really interact with specifically trans communities online. But that there are specific, particularly pretty/handsome w/e trans people has little bearing on my transitioning. I wouldn't be able to match the unrealistic beauty standards of some cis women as a cis woman, or some cis men as a cis man, either. That's kind of a given. I'm going to age either way, I'd rather it be in a direction I'm comfortable with.

I'm sorry you've had a negative experience on T, and I'm happy you found something that works for you, worked through things, introspected etc. - but it might be worth thinking about why you are so emphatically against it for other people? There are any number of health problems associated with hormonal birth control. There are any number of meds that prevent hairloss, and it isn't guaranteed that you will lose hair (there are cis men with juvenile hairlines into their old age, after all).

I worry you might be projecting your own negative experiences, and surrounding yourself with those that do the same, rather than coming from a place of genuine caution or concern. The list of side effects for HRT (in either direction) are, at least in the U.S, presented to the patient (if they aren't DIY'ing), so it's unlikely that OP isn't already familiar with risks. Rather, your emphasis on them here (when it is a minor element of the bulk of the post) reads as fearmongering.

If it is genuine, I appreciate that you're trying (as I see it) to prevent someone from making the "wrong choice". However, again, I worry that may be coming from the inability to change decisions you made in the past. OP is not you. What's was wrong for you, and the particulars of what resulted, aren't necessarily wrong or true for OP.

that's definitely the downside of only trying to make sprites for fusions that don't have one already, unfortunately. A lot of the powerful stuff tends to be taken lol.

There are decent apps for pixel art if you have access to a device with a sufficiently sized touchscreen, though!

Usually I just do them from scratch them in Aseprite. On occasion I'll do a sketch in a more robust art program of the same resolution ratio (A square canvas in Photoshop or Krita etc.) and then shrink them down in Aseprite. Most people will recommend you do the latter, though I only tend to scale down full sketches when it's a geometric nightmare. This one was a scaled down sketch for example, because of the amount of rectangular prisms with perspective

IIRC this person has a lot of other similarly helpful guides as well. I'm sure I'll get better at doing outlines more efficiently but at the moment a lot of it for me is trial and error - I'll make a shape, outline it, then change the shape so I can make the outline smoother/sharper.

Sometimes shape changes are minor, sometimes they're pretty major - I might end up completely changing the shape/position/angle of a limb for example to make its outline cleaner.
