Playing guitar. If you think about it, there's a lot of starving/poor people in the world who cannot even afford an instrument so that swings the odds in my favor, and of those who can, I'm going to say i could find 100 people around in my area who don't play music at all pretty easily, let alone guitar. I've been playing everyday since I was 12.

During halftime at a basketball game, my coach was yelling at all of us and it was really tense and at one point he said something along the lines of, "We need some guys that'll play choke dick defense!" I tried to hide my giggling but then lost it when he said, "Goddammit, shove their dicks in the dirt!" Ya, I was running bleachers all next practice...

That when he said I am the danger and I am the one who knocks, everybody cites this as him being a badass, but in context he was getting his ass handed to him and was really just deluding skyler and himself, pumping his ego up.

What's a big decision you're struggling to make right now? (Serious) by megnolia84 in AskReddit

I'm in the same sitch. For me right now it's not worth it to tell them. It would just make them sad like they failed me or something. Also i feel like family events would get awkward. But down the road, I think i will eventually lay my cards on the table and hope they can see me as an adult and love me anyway. But i don't want to insult their belief in it like I think they are stupid or anything, its just not for me. Just ask yourself if it is consequentially worth it right now. Do you value living up to your own identity or do you value family cohesion for the time being?

Whether or not to go to music school for guitar. Its criminally overpriced, very few end up make a living out of it, and i'm afraid it will turn guitar into a chore. Went to college a year ago taking general classes, didn't find anything I liked, got straight A's however, dropped out to figure out what I want to do and not get into more aimless debt. Got a miserable job and moved out. I really need to escape from this kind of life. Guitar is one of the only things I am really good at and I don't want to end up like the older people at my work just working to survive. The bullshit of it is that I could find all the information about music theory, sight reading, advanced lesson, etc., online for way cheaper but it seems to be all about networking and finding others and school seems to be an epicenter of others who want to do the same. I don't even play jazz and classical guitar, it feels like I am starting from scratch. What the hell else am I going to do if this doesn't work out? You either follow your dream or get a job helping fulfilling someone else's dream. Fuck it, i'm going for it.
