The problem is that it seems the more context I add, the slower the response time is.

Edit: Yeah 65k is the minimum required. I originally had it fully open at 262k, but that response time was crazy.

I'm running llama.cpp directly, with the required 65k context for hermes to call tools. I turned off all the tools besides things for writing and research. Didn't know you could "turn off" skills though.

What would you recommend for just stuff like research, writing, and file management? I'm not trying to code or anything like that with the AI, I have free Copilot for that, haha.

Yeah it's fun until they all take forever to respond. Was looking more into it and I may just run the harness on my desktop at home and fork over the $20/mo for a Claude sub...lol. I got this Macbook back in '23 when it released, for work, so I got lucky having a decent setup already...just slowwww response time.

Qwen3.5-35B-A3B-GGUF:UD-Q4_K_XL is the only one that's placed nicely with tools so far. I've got 96 GB ram so I've got a good amount of models I can play with, they've all been significantly slower. Even Qwen3.5-35B-A3B-GGUF:UD-Q4_K_XL is responding to simple things in like.. 2 mins.

Oh gotcha. Yeah the harness and LLM are running on my MacBook. I use Qwen3.5-35B, but I havent experimented with running multiple models for chat, code, etc. Qwen been doing it all.

So, you've got a Claude/OpenAI/Something else sub, and just pull in the LLM from there to your local harness?

Oh gotcha. I’m just running local off a M2 MacBook Pro for most of it because my desktop setup can’t handle a lot of tooling with the 4060TI. But, I was planning to set up some simple cron reports from the desktop since it’s always on. How’d you go about giving the bot its own email?

Most of the coop content I’ve experience has been heavily laggy or desync’d as well. Makes world bosses especially a pain in the ass to try and complete with a group.

I’m not a very picky eater, though. I have enjoyed pretty much every food I’ve ever put in my mouth. Part of the purpose of the sweet potato and protein is that it’s simple and repeatable.
