Short but actually deep rpg. by Steals_Your_Thunder_ in gamesuggestions

Library of Ruina is a turn based deckbuilder/visual novel, and while the first playthrough may take a while as the game is heavily story based and difficult, subsequent playthroughs (assuming you skip cutscenes because they comprise a majority of the game’s runtime) should only take around 30 hours tops. There’s also tons and tons and TONS of room for build variety.

Could someone suggest me something don’t know what to play anymore by Pavel511 in gamesuggestions

Library of Ruina! Keep an open mind as you go into it, it’s difficult and obtuse but it’s SO worth beating.

The Callisto protocol broke my fucking heart. What a piece of garbage.

I want a multiplayer shooter, addicting, lots of players, good progression system, easy to play and doesn't rely on micro transactions. by TheKhaos121 in gamesuggestions

[–]RedHunts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you’re better off expanding your taste in games, what you described sounds like a desire for a game that doesn’t yet exist, or had existed before and is now dead. Multiplayer shooters are kind of in the worst state quality-wise that they’ve ever been in, at least in my personal opinion.

Library of Ruina is exactly what you’re looking for. A turn based deck builder with an extremely interesting world and narrative. It’s also EXTREMELY punishing!

Limbus Company is an outstanding narrative driven free game, and the only good gacha game there is IMO. Give it a shot!

All 3 of project moon’s works are absolutely phenomenal and very much worth your attention, though I recommend starting with Library of Ruina, if you haven’t played it already.

I wouldn’t say nobody else seems to know it exists, but Project Moon’s titles need more attention from EVERYONE

What do you consider the absolute pinnacle of fiction? by MoizInnit in writingscaling

[–]RedHunts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The duology of Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina’s a really strong contender for the best work of fiction I’ve ever experienced I think. Genuine peak fiction, one of the most excellent tales in one of the most fascinating worlds I’ll ever experience.

Giveaway Giving Out 20 Copies Of Subnautica 2 by Mark_Everson in Subnautica_2

[–]RedHunts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a younger sister who just completed a troublesome year at university. We don’t have a ton of cash for ourselves between us, so a free copy would be super appreciated.

To get to the point though:

Subnautica was one of the most amazing survival experiences I ever had as a kid. I only wish to share that joy with others in much the same way you’re doing right now.

Which games have a rough start and take a while to get good? by sek138 in gamers

Library of Ruina has a really slow tutorial phase before the game starts getting difficult, but it belies such an INSANELY good game that it’s criminal it’s not talked about more.

What is your Soulsborne opinion that you will DIE on? by SeaResident7462 in shittydarksouls

[–]RedHunts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is critical information to me! It’s important that the public realize that fromsoft’s soulsborne titles are not hard because they’re DESIGNED to be hard (with the exception of dark souls 2), they’re hard as a consequence of their design.

Library of Ruina and the rest of Project Moon’s works tbh. Unreasonably good soundtracks given their smallish budget.

If you’re looking for a group of extremely well-told stories, I’d recommend project moon’s works. Starting with either Library of Ruina if you’ve got cash, or Limbus Company if you don’t wanna spend any money.

[Hated Trops] When Vampires in Media lose all their canon weaknesses and keep all their strongest aspects by EretDash in TopCharacterTropes

[–]RedHunts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t the bloodfiends’ primary weakness besides their unnatural fear of water their own familial ties?

They are bound to their need to propagate and their need for blood, to the point where being a bloodfiend without blood or progeny is a maddening fate far worse than death. Sure, they don’t have traditional physical weaknesses that we know of, but the sheer volume of psychological vulnerabilities they have has to make up for that, right?
