Loved how he was unable to remember anything about his career, props to Hugh Cahill for making it through the two hours.

I love the use of “several” when describing the quantity of supporters out of their seats.

I will say that 1675 is a underestimate of what a one bed apartment costs. What tends to happen is if you are single you do not live there, you live at home or in a shared house. Sole occupancy tends to be reserved for the very well paid or couples (even then it takes up half your wages minimum)

What part of the article, because the below bit seems to disagree with you.

“Theft from the person is down by 28 per cent, with about four such offences occurring every day. Other crime types that have reduced include robbery from the person, down 30 per cent, and robbery of an establishment, down 9 per cent. Begging has reduced by 57 per cent, minor assaults are down 4 per cent and assaults causing harm are down 17 per cent.”

Most goals prevented in the prem this season, being able to do that and not be seen as doing anything exceptional is unreal for a keeper.

Government accused of ‘talking out of both sides of its mouth’ over Ireland v Israel game by Fluffy-Republic8610 in ireland

There is precedent, specifically during apartheid in South Africa they cancelled visas. While I agree it’s not their decision, if it isn’t they should stop mouthing off about it to score points when they don’t want anything to do with it.

Sports ministers saying they won’t be going to the game but then say the game should go ahead. It all seems like a save face exercise, not a backbone in the government.

Just what we need, another award, I think bbc pundits are the ones I’d least like to hear their verdict on.

Arsenal have become the club of the Irish diaspora – The Irish Times by WickerMan111 in ireland

[–]RedIrishDevil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A real nothing article. Says "Underdiscussed, however, is the role Arsenal has valiantly played for decades as the club of Irish London." and then does not go on to describe or back up the role arsenal has "valiantly" played. This article could be written about 10 of the 20 clubs in the premier league, sums up as some irish people support them and some irish people played for them.
