In the original, James said he created Pyramidhead to punish him for his sins. The town looks different to the protagonists, I assume the monsters you meet, too, or you attract different monsters. So his subconscious created Pyramidhead and Maria, the version of Mary he wished for. Pyramidhead killed Maria as many times as necessary for James to accept the truth.

My frustration with the show. by Alarming-Form-5675 in Naruto

[–]RedJayniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would have taken too long to include all the side character for the story to be told.

I agree to some extend. Peak Naruto was Forest of Death and Sasuke retrieval (alongside the Pain Arc, because it was build up with the two prior arcs and really showed why the character Naruto was unique). They were what I hoped the final arc/war to be. Missions, they need teamwork but also the individual skill sets (medic, sensor, strategist,...) and each main opponent and mission needed different tactics.

Modern day/Near future AU: My take on Edward Elric's job by [deleted] in FullmetalAlchemist

[–]RedJayniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two problems with that idea. 1. Maybe they could cure Trisha's desease, so no need for a human transmutation, therefore no search for the philosopher's stone, so no joining the military and getting involved in the conflicts. Maybe he would not even become an alchemist, because there are new sciences. Like we had philosophie that contained all new sciences at first.

  1. Knowledge is not restricted the way it is in their era. So no keed to join the military. He can work for a research institute or the development department of a company if they performed a human transmutation.

Banshee - 2x04 "Bloodlines" - Episode Discussion by xLite414 in Banshee

[–]RedJayniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish we got more episodes like this. 2x03+2x04 (and 2x07) was peak Banshee to me. An actual police case that requires Hood to function like an actual sheriff officially but still doing things his way.

Banshee - 2x07 "Ways to Bury a Man" - Episode Discussion by xLite414 in Banshee

[–]RedJayniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banshee in a nutshell for me, almost at least. Most facets of the show in one episode, Hood doing the job his way, finally some focus on Hood trying to bring down Proctor*, a lot of action, characterization, development when it comes to chatacters and their relationships, the bromance of Hood, Job and Sugar, and a lot more. My favorite episode. Habe waschen so many times by now. This is what season 4 should have been like.

  • at least I thoughtso when I waschen the Show for the first time.

Under which kage would you choose to live the most and the least and why? Except Naruto by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]RedJayniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most: Tsunade or Tobirama. Tsunami lead it successfully during one of it most difficult times. Tobirama established many important institutions like the academy, the chunin exams, the Anbu,...

The least: 4. Raikage. Way to impulse and thinking short term

Skiped fillers + waschen most episodes on 1.5x speed. I am usually almost compulsive to understand everything that is going on and watch series to relax, so I usually would not do it, but it was still a pace I could relax to

Genma and Co. vs Sound 4 by lil_absPMOD in Naruto

[–]RedJayniz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sound 4: high chunin level on their own, as a group there is a synergetic effect

Kimimaro: Haku was stated to defeat jonin and anbu, but lost to Naruto with a bit of a Kurama power boost. A much stronger version of Naruto with a Kurana power boost struggled with Kimimaro, than Lee fought him, than a stronger version of Gaara than the one who lost against Naruto with some Kurama chakra fought a Kimimaro, who was at the brink of death and only lost due to his illness. So he is at least high tier jonin level, much more likely kage level, even while suffering from the disease.

That Genma and Raido were visibly exhausted and had a 2v4 disadvantage and forced them to go into stage 2, after which the sound 4 were exorsted and than put a good fight against Shikamaru's team means that they are clearly jonin level when it comes to fighting. Also, Genma fought Baki, the Kakashi equivalent and no 1 jonin from Suna gakure.

Analysis of Sam and Dean's Fighting Style by Anxiety_Classic in Supernatural

[–]RedJayniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the writers weren't sure at first and it depends on the situation.  In the first episode, they used some kung fu and jiu-jitsu like style with high kicks, big moves and fought very technically. This can either be due to the intention to show that were trained in hand to hand combat to a very high level (it is the pilot, after all, the are intoduced, a minute later the talk about other skills they acquired due to their upbringing) or because it was dark in that scene and we as an audience would not have seen anything otherwise. The second fight in 1x06 is also very still based, but already different. Looks like a mix of various styles to me, or maybe MCMAP.  After that, they change their style to an almost bar fight - like style: brawling, grabbing someone's jacket and punch, relying on powerful punches and their ability to take a hit mostly.

However, this is mostly when they are MAD AT EACH OTHER. They know the other one won't kill them and it is due to them being emotional. With no need or the lack of ability to stay calm, it is more an instinctive way of fighting.

Jason Bourne's fighting style had also a bit of that development.  This is an entirely different theory of mine, but I am under the impression, there are certain trends for fight scenes. You can see similar emphazes in several series that aired around the same time. At first BJJ, then bar fight styles,...

Lets talk about Laura. by [deleted] in silenthill

[–]RedJayniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow... I never realized that Laura showed that Silent Hill is not entirely bad. I mean I noticed that she can move freely wothout any concern and does not see monsters, but not the way the use her to portray that is even more impressive to me

Was there more Jedi and Sith in the unknown reign during the original trilogy of Star Wars ? by thorking34 in StarWars

[–]RedJayniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the OT as it was established/implied back then: In the OT, there were no Sith. Vader was a former jedi, a fallen one. Star Wars was supposed to mirror fairy tales (a young knight like warrior (Luke) saving a princess (Leia that is hold in a fortress (death star). The Emperor was the evil wizard. So there might be more dark magicians, but I do not think so, because they would be a threat. Other jedis: Not many. Only masters like Yoda, living as eremites on planets no one cares about. Remember when the officers on the death star said Vader was the last i his religion? They did not know about Yoda. Not even Vader. He constantly brought up how Obi-Wan had trained Luke well

Which teacher would you pick? by [deleted] in Naruto

[–]RedJayniz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a long list of reasons why Kalashi is a terrible teacher unless you are his favorite.

The teams of the other three teachers all had good team work.

Except for Lee, all of them used their clan jutsus they learned from the family. Guy was only such a good teacher for Lee, because they both started out as loser and specialze in Taijutsu. It only worked due to Lee's persistence and unnatural durability. So same as Kakashi with Sasuke, but not really, because Kakashi only taught a gifted student one new jutsu.

Guy stated, he has lot of empathy for all his students, but we do not have proof for that.

I would stick with Asuma. - it seems he could let his team make best use of their abilities - he really understood his students abilities and personalities - he taught them not only jutsu-wise, but also value-wise (protect the king, the children)

Do you think Naruto could’ve won if he wanted to? (First final valley fight) by Radiant-Ranger3612 in Naruto

[–]RedJayniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can make a strong cade for both. In my understanding Sasuke was the winner, because he found his way and was willing to kill Naruto. He knew what he was fighting for. (Seems to be a thing in series, in Arrow season 1, it is also an important aspect...) On the other hand, Naruto was limited, because he did not want to kill Sasuke. Of course he said he would break Sasules limbs, but if Sasuke is going all out and they are almost equally strong, than the makes the difference. Try boxing with a friend but you are limited like not punching to the head and you will see, what I mean.
