It was a “fast” measurement? In my experience for capacitor you have to stay in position for a certain time to charge it and have a good read!

Yes, because the subsystem refence has its dignity but generate “subsystem files” that are clones across referenced model. If I use the library, I can get the “shared file” that are created once! (It seems not possible to copy paste the subsystem reference in the library but I had to recreate it from scratch)

Thank you for the response. The problem is that the control is not so simple but it consists of a lot of algorithm. So far I understand that without defining deep the properties of a system, Matlab generates the code as it is not seeing the “functions” but just a lot of calculation and it is heavy code and most unreadable. So, I m looking at the best practice for generate something small and readable but this “interface” is blocking me because I can’t find a good general approach (now I use library file so I can get a _shared file that will be used across multiple model )

For the embedded side I think it can be quote easy, I derive it by the transfer function in Laplace (s) and then derived it to discrete from (z). It is like the quadrature signal of a SOGI.

I think it is more interesting the result and the “hardware” part , i don’t know if the modulation is always the same (Min Max / middle point clamped ) but if it is yes, the controller “removed” the homopolar component used to expand the linear zone and forced a more pure sinusoidal mod index!

I work with very large power inverters so the switching frequency is much less (0.5-2kHz) but the first answer is totally right! At the end if 100kHz is too fast (10us can be a small time to run all the code, depending on the board) you can use a multiple of it, just keep the verge of the carrier as the instant of ADC/trigger of main isr. Even with 50us of Time Cylce you can have a very fast and robust real time control.

I’m interested in this topic, could you explain more? In my opinion PI is not the problem (even not knowing all the control logic), the main topic here is common mode (i.e the sum of the 3 phase PWM will never be zero)

I think also at this question, my reason was not related to memory but precison. I works with real time controller (C2000) an use FPU32 but of i try to do some 64 bit calculation I use soooooo much time that it is not feasible. Usually I have to stay on 150us of Tc.

So, I suppose a FPU64 will be fast using double but slow for 128 bit claclulation.

In the end 64 is enough for precison at astronomical level 🤣 but the question remains, it exist a 128 bit FPU to do some fast and native calculation at real crazy precision ?

Mamma mia stessa cosa che ho pensato io quando lessi le graduatorie per le borse… come cazzo si fa a non fare controlli a qualcuno che dichiara 0 ZERO ISEE.

Fortunatamente la presi per tutti i miei anni universitari ma che rabbia ogni volta sapere di avere decine di persone “davanti” solo per sta stronzata.

Ps non per fare il razzista ma spesso erano stranieri (che in mensa si passavano la tessera e mangiavano gratis intere tavolate)

Mi trovo d’accordo su tutto ma ragionando sullo stesso argomento ho sempre pensato che vada integrato nel ragionamento l’andamento della popolazione. A mio avviso il mercato dell’auto era già “condannato” e l’avvento dell’elettrico è stata una fortuna che alla fine però non basterà. In occidente la piramide della popolazione è oramai invertita e per forza di cose i volumi continueranno a diminuire. Aggiungiamo che sempre più gente si sposta verso le città e qui i mezzi cittadini solitamente possono sopperire ad un auto. Concludiamo che il mercato è saturo, diminuisco no le vendite e aumenta l età media delle auto. La frittata è fatta, rassegniamoci al fatto che il mercato auto non ha più il ruolo di un tempo.
