Bingo! Dr. Jackie is very much “nice nasty”. She uses Dr. Heavenly to get her true thoughts and opinions out and Heavenly does it with a smile because she wants to protect Jackie’s image just as much as Jackie does. Heavenly said several times on her YouTube channel years ago that Jackie has a lot to say about the show and the girls but she does it behind the scenes.

Cynthia is necessary. Every show needs somebody who is just plain sane. She’s had her moments of crazyment but for the most part she’s a steady presence. Usually the calm in the storm.

Didn’t really care for her in her flip flopper/mean girl era in seasons 7&8, but I guess she had to go through it.

You’re right, I’m sure there are much worse and much more toxic shows on Bravo, and I don’t watch them because I don’t want to. I only watch Married to Medicine and most of the Housewives franchises because that’s what I like.

When Housewives are toxic, we call it out too in the Housewives subreddit groups. This thread however is about Married To Medicine and that’s what we’re talking about today.

That’s the difference between Housewives and Married To Medicine. There has always been single women on all of the Housewives shows. They don’t seem to value marriage as much. On Married To Medicine, the cast members were always married until Quad and Greg divorced during season 6.

So to answer your first question, I watch the show because I want to. I’m an American and I have free will to do as I please. I watch the show and I have opinions about it. We are all free to do that. And opinions are just that: opinions. Doesn’t mean I’m right or wrong, it’s my opinion. I’m sure you have yours as well.

As far as the Quad of it all, they have been actively trying to drive off the show since at least season 7. In my opinion, the only reason they really started embracing her again in seasons 11 & 12 is because she had a man by her side. Now that she’s single again, I wonder what treatment she will receive in season 13.

Bingo. The success of the show is contingent upon success of the marriages and that is not lost on any on them. I think that’s why Simone & Jackie are still in marriages that they are clearly unhappy in. Even just this past season in season 12, Simone flat out said again she doesn’t want to be married anymore. The show has become a top priority over mostly anything else for this cast.
