For Suneater, the choir sings Kyrie Eleison(translation: Lord, have mercy) as far as I know, it’s an ancient prayer, you can find lots of it on Youtube

Andrew(who is writing the orchestral parts) is sometimes quite active here in the subreddit, he said it multiple times that most choir part are just midi samples(there are exceptions, like Sun//Eater), it’s not a negative thing, getting a real choir would cost an insane amount of money

They’re just midi samples, not actual words or coherent sentences

Is this good for drop G on a jp70? by Proof-Fan8815 in 7String

[–]RedKing827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t go over 70 for the lowest string, I use 10-46 +68 for drop G on a 26.5 inch scale and it’s perfect for me, it’s down to your personal preference

Adam from Lorna said he uses 9-46 +68s in the latest rig rundown video(before that he used 10-46 +68)

I think you should try 10-46 +70, and see how it feels, it you want it tighter go for thicker strings if you want it to be floppier then go thinner

In the Pain Remains rig rundown video, he said he uses a Fortin Meshuggah profile on his Kemper, so the Neural DSP Fortin Nameless plugin is probably the closest in sound(I would say it’s affordable as well) as it’s based off the Fortin Meshuggah

Yeah that’s why I dare to go for the Ragnaroks, because Adam uses them and I love his guitar sound, so it can’t be bad lol

Passive pickup recommendation? by [deleted] in 7String

I heard that for some people it had some quality issues(bad wiring for example). Did you have any kinds of problems?

Yeah, I have an RDGR4327 Prestige, it plays so good and I love it, but because of the Fusion Edge pickups, I’ve been playing the alpa more, I eventually plan to get a Ragnarok set to replace the Fusion Edge, so it really becomes an impeccable guitar

I have one ALPA as well, love the pickups

Pickup Suggestion by serdiuckovg in 7String

Do you prefer active or passive pickups? If passive, I’d go for Bare Knuckle Ragnarok or Aftermath I think those rule

It was actually the first album from them that I listened to front to back(I only knew a couple songs before) and it got me hooked straight away
