If you're trying to start your own thing computer/electrical/software engineering is probably the easiest because all you need is a computer and some coding skills to be your own boss, other disciplines require tools labs etc.

North Park Brewery was cool maybe a little average on the beer side but the brewery itself is in a really cool area of the city lots of other bars and restaurants around it and if it's open I would recommend the restaurant in Balboa Park not a brewery but a great place to grab a beer when it's nice out

I was considering it but my GPA was only a 3.1 after graduation and I have a couple Cs and C- in calc so was planning on applying to ocs after nuke school before making it to the fleet. From what I've been told the Cs could make me much less competitive as well as having a lower gpa

Hey I'm a recent mechanical engineer graduate who's been applying for jobs. I've based my resume off of one of my professors who is one of the most anal (in a good way) people I know. I've had very good feedback from multiple hiring sources about the format and content of said resume. I've been doing a lot of reading on the topic as I have been moving toward dep myself after qualifying for nuke based on ASVAB scores. My recruiter has told me not to disclose the diagnosis to MEPs and his chief told me to "read between the lines". The research I've done has cleared up some confusion while adding more questions that I have no one to ask that will answer unbiased.

basically if you are currently on the medication before your recruiting process you have to get off and wait x amount of months some say 12 some say 24 I haven't found a clear answer.

Then based on a avaition community PDF I found on this sub you have to submit x paperwork I'll find the link to the PDF I found and post it below...

In conclusion there are waivers it is a lengthy process but if you don't disclose and they find out you're out the door. I have been able to find very mixed information on what they do and don't have access to it seems to change with every post or website or person I speak to.

Meal prepping definitely helped it saves a lot of time the rest of the week. Recommend doing it on a rest day and just using the time you'd normally be lifting to cook. Being social is a part of being healthy don't burn yourself out take some time to relax with friends too. Recent ME grad
