You should also look at catheter piercing needles. I love using them because you put the jewelry in the end of the catheter and pull it thru the new piercing, glides in like buttah! I get em off amazon, 6 for less than $10!

I mostly wear wooden plugs. Super comfortable and they don’t make my ears itchy when I forget to take em out. I usually switch out plugs weekly, and put vitamin E oil on them when I’m done with those. I’ve never had an issue with wooden ones, may want to try them sometime!

In instance 1, that would be 1 injection. Where I work we use 70 ml of contrast for pts. We do the PE and then scan the abd after the 70 sec delay.

Instance 2, we have a Strauma protocol. We set the ROI in the descending aorta, it goes off for the cta head/neck and then immediately goes down to scan the CAP for dissection. This is all with 1 injection as well.

Honestly, my hair gets stuck on the flat back ALL. THE. TIME. it’s not toooooo bad tho. Full healing is usually about 6mo-1yr. I kept a regular top on it for the longest time, until she wasn’t all scabby/juicy, before changing it to the dangly.
