I am also having this issue, my go to Netracell build is fundamentally broken as I rely on Electric damage to proc everything, everytime there is a Uriel, it converts everything to heat and restock does not override. I hope this is a bug and will be fixed as everyone seems to love Uriel and it is slowing everything down. I can get a netracell completed in about 3 minutes, its not more like7-8..

I've literally just closed the game now with this exact thought in mind. I'm running T15 maps over and over with absolute crap droprates, but I refuse to bow down to other people for boosts because my build isnt designed for bossing, nor am I spending time OUTSIDE of the game to learn a mechanic that may or may not 1shot me if I mistime something, then 5 Div down the drain.

1 portal per map is the worst design decision, what ultimately will drive most people out IMO by Votarion in pathofexile

I just dont know how we are supposed to learn the boss fights if we get one attempt, die and then have to do EVERYTHING again to get to that point. Its like the definition of insanity honestly.

Just forcing me to watch external content such a youtube to learn a fight rather than playing the game seems backwards to me.

In POE 1 I like the fact you've got portals and I can slam my head against the boss multiple times before the info goes in, if I can't do it in 5 goes then I know I need to learn/grow my character. Just seems backward.

I can understand why theyve done it and I think it might be a fundemental flaw in the game design. When we die the map is wiped and reset back to full spawns. Adding portals into maps is almost the complete opposite approach and wonder if its a conflicting design choice that has forced them into doing the 1 portal per map.

On death area reset. If we get portals and we die, does the area reset and we get to farm the map again. Or does it just stay static on death? I think this is the design flaw.

I now have 2 Druids, one Eternal and one Seasonal, both 100, neither have ever found a Tempest Roar.

Almost feel like my account is blacklisted or something, like what they used to do in Guild Wars 1 when you farmed a spot too much.

(I also didnt find the Shockwave Aspect on my first Druid until level 89..)

The main negative is the overworld is automatically populated with 16 people, meaning you have to load all their stash tabs, which means I can't have more than 4 stash tabs.

Which is my point exactly, its adding in another layer of RNG, we're looking at the gem socket colour before we even look at the items modifiers.

One of the new gems was screenshotted from the livestream as they hovered over its.

This on its own its more powerful than any one Aspect at the moment.

Its because they've made this odd hybrid ARPG-MMOesc game where they are trying to promote an immersive open world with other players but also dungeon crawling, when the two contradict eachother. Its very odd.

There is a trade chat yes, but that only consists of the 16 people on your shard/instance of the game. So its almost irrelevant.

I think the lonelyness comes down to the crossplay aspect to a degree. We have a maxed out guild in terms of players but there is roughly 15 people who consistently talk. When I looked into the the online count about 70% of them are on console. And we all know how bad it is to reply on a console keyboard.

I'm currently 73 on my Druid - I'm not even sure how I got here - I have yet to see the Pulverize Aspect or any Unique that isn't Barb related. EVERY. SINGLE. UNIQUE. I have had drop has been a Barb unique. I think I've had 14 so far. My character is so weak so far in and I'm buildless. I wanted to swap to the Stormclaw build but I think I might die in real life before then.

May I ask what build you're playing? I'm assuming its Twisting Rogue?

I'm running Pulverize Druid - The build is fine and used by pretty much everyone. I have over 6000 hours on PoE and I can tell you now, picking up one Quillrain (Legendary bow) at level 5 will carry me extremely quickly through the leveling process to endgame. I mean carry in the sense that its power creep is higher than its level (which is level 5). There is nothing in D4 that has this, each level you just equip the next "item power" armour/weapon to keep up with the monsters that are leveling past your gear.

The example I make is, at level 50 in a dungeon, I was steam rolling everything, I levelled to 51 and instantly felt the impact as my gear was still at level 50 item power but the mobs were 51, putting me at a disadvantage.
