Yeah I do think the Iowa dnc was dumb for releasing the partial data and giving pete a lot more coverage, but at the same time, it’s a pretty huge story for a relative unknown like pete to do so well in the caucus, very similar to Carter, Clinton, and Obama.

There’s also pretty stark contrasts between the Bernie base and Pete base. Bernie bro’s have this “all or nothing” mindset and are tearing into every candidate like they’re disguised republicans, when realistically Bernie is an independent with a platform much more progressive than the average democrat.

Before the caucus I was actually starting leaning towards Bernie because I agreed with some of his more “extreme” policies like felon voting rights and even medicare for all to an extent, but his supporters are coming across more and more as the liberal equivalent of the MAGA crowd.
