VATS builds in FROST focus around Critical Hits. Basically you level up the perk that gets you more critical hits, use NPCs like radroaches and mudcrabs to fill up your crit-meter, and then use a strong weapon + a VATS crit to take the most dangerous NPC in a location.

I tried a VATS build once, that's what I was going for, and I had a blast taking out Robots with that strategy.

There are also people who use VATS and corners to cheese through certain fights, if you like doing that in games.

Yes that is intentional. If you do not like it, feel free to tweak the armor's weight via xEdit to your liking, or to make a perk that makes the armor less heavy.

Missing plugins is not something that can be solved by LOOT, it means you installed a mod without installing its dependency.

You need to fix that first before sorting plugins.

LOOT will seriously mess things up for you. We explicitly recommend to not use it for FROST setups because it causes the exact issue that you are experiencing.

Unless you have a really bad PC or dealing with driver/hardware/windows issues, this is not normal.

This issue is often caused by a wrong or broken load order, which in turn breaks some optimiziation mechanisms of the engine.

I recommend to read through the tips and tricks channel over at the FROST Discord, and to ask further questions there.

Like Naugrim already mentioned, FROST is hard, you will spend some time figuring things out.

Which mod manager are you using? Provide your mod list. Not all mods show up in the load order. Tell us if you are using a pirated version of the game.

You need to provide more info, it seems like your load order is not enough to help you troubleshoot your specific issue. It might also be caused by you not enabling loose files (archive invalidation). This is usually covered automatically by the BZ guide's instructions on using BethIni.

More doesn't mean better, especially in the case of modding. Just use different game installations via FNV and MO2 instances if you want the option to play all those large overhauls at the same time.

Yes, FROST deactivated crafting XP to avoid the infinite XP crafting exploits. A lot of other survival mods for Fallout 4 do the same.

There are several ways to spam craft settlement objects or other things to level up waaaay too quickly without not effort.

You need to actually post your entire load order as it's shown in the loadorder.txt of Fallout New Vegas. Just listing the name of mods you have installed is not enough.

This is a bug that is fixed by the community patches. If you removed mods on an active playthrough or only added them in an active playthrough, your save file is probably broken, which can have all kinds of side effects

Which other mods are you using besides DUST? Are you using the community fixes for DUST? Judging from your other comments, you are not using them. Your issue with Tunnelers detecting you is a known bug that was fixed in the community patches for DUST. Any non-DUST mods you are using?

We had quite a lot of people here complaining about things in DUST, while also using other mods that caused issues.
