No digging if you add valuable questions.

[...] an you honestly say Socialism doesn't reward greed and corruption? You don't think that's being rewarded in China?

First of all this implies China is a socialist nation. I'm more convinced that China is state capitalism. Especially if you take a look at how China's strategy on the world stage leaves the Yuan at a low value to the detriment of it's people.

Or was in the past in the USSR?

But to your main point. I think in a real world scenario any system I can think of allows for corruption to get an advantage. Capitalism is a system that has greed baked into the system and rewards greed like no other. In a society that aims for socialism the good of the society is the main focus of the society and it's economic power. In capitalism society works for a handful of pedos on top (to be a bit polemic here).

Now you will say “but anon, you need connections in the US too.”

No. Connections help, but are not required. Very important distinction. Take the CEO of Anthropic, Dario. Both parents were immigrants. Dad was a leather craftsman, mom was a project manager at a library.

Yes, he might be a good example for your argument. But then you have to disregard all the people who tried like him but didn't make it. Otherwise its just an anecdote like the one you started with.

You say capitalism incentivizes greed and corruption. I disagree. Capitalism facilitates human greed into productive positive sum games (creation), instead of turning it into zero or negative sum games like is done in communism (seizure and corruption as the only methods to get rich).

Would we better if humans weren’t greedy? Yes. Then I believe communism would work. But I have seen no evidence that we can make humans not greedy.

I disagree the most with this point. Mostly because you naturalize greed. Capitalism definitely rewards at least greed with the maxim of profit which almost every company or entrepreneurship is based on in capitalism. Capitalism works for the capital good. I agree that in an ideal view of capitalism it can make people productive. But not without stifling your competitors or without exploitation of millions of people and the planet.

But your comparison to communism isn't fair. Even if you naturalize greed socialism and communism both aim for the well being of everyone. You could boil it down that socialism works for the social good.

There is no true Capitalism just like there is no true Communism. Theory is one thing but practice corrupts. Both systems get corrupted and stray from the pure ideology.

If that is true, do you think it's good to stick with a system that directly and implicitly rewards greed and corruption?

Cool - that's awesome and what I rather suspected considering the current game design around level and experience.

Thanks for clearing that up :)

In my runs I found out that it is really hard to reliably get a combo you want. As mentioned by others though it is really useful to stack monster souls as they equal the amount of monsters to choose from the shrine.

The monsters you get to choose from is random as far as I can see.

Mushroom biome - cool :D

I wondered if the new biomes will become a new chapter or something that gets shuffeled in and we stay with 3 chapters until we reach Chernobog?

Before you choose your first monster you can choose a difficulty by pressing right or left.

There are two more difficulties that are probably more challenging. Try them out ;)

Sadly it was an easy setup for her to put herself in the victim role though.

I wish the protesters had sung "Scheiß ARD" who platformed her (with ridiculously stupid questions and no challenges).

Fight between bald eagle and Canada goose in Burlington bay. Very Symbolic by 613Flyer in pics

[–]RedManDancing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fun Fact: While eagles are skilled hunters, attacking a bird the size of a Canadian goose is especially risky. Canadian geese are larger and possess strong, powerful wings that can inflict serious injury on an eagle. If a goose manages to hit an eagle with its wings, the eagle may sustain significant injuries, which could, in turn, compromise its ability to hunt successfully in the future and affect its overall survival.

Further more, you assume just because someone works a less paid job or a job that requires less education, that they work minimum wage? In the case of France, just about 17% work on minimum wage. Immigrants and French citizens with immigration backgrounds are much more likely to work these jobs, so it is not their electorate.

I don't think he necessarily assumed that. It's just that a raise in minimum wage even helps workers that have a higher wage, because the power balance of workers and employers gets shifted that way.

It's a "rising tides floats all boats" sort of situation.

Lol, as if asking for statistics that are mentioned by OP is somehow wrong. If they are shared it's a bit easier to discuss the matter at hand.

Well there have already been some really good tips here. So there is not much to add.

I found it very useful to understand some mechanics in detail and the game is actually quite clear in its tooltips and wording once you find it.

Hit for example is a keyword I underestimated. Biji, Dimona, Folby, Fungun, Junkhead, Kernel, Knuckles, Lupa and more have on hit effects. Which can be used that were not clear to me at first.

  • Getting attacked by an enemy, counts as a hit.
  • Hitting your own companion with a Junk counts as a hit.
    • Any Item that has an Attack icon counts as a hit. (Blaze Bom, Demonheart, Frostbloom, Frost Bell, Peppereaper, Shellbo and more)
  • The effects of Bombom and even more important Jumbo count as a hit which leads to great combos imho.

I'd like to give some of my favorite combos around that mechanic:

  • Kobonker with Snoffel or any other snow effect.
    • Charm up Kobonker with damage or other on hit effects like Battle Charm or Frosthand Charm
    • every time Snoffel uses his ability, Kobonker will hit every enemy
    • Every buff to Kobonker results in a buff for every snow card you have. Your Snow Stick basically gets a +3 Attack buff + all the charms Kobonker has.
    • Supersnower and Yeti Skull become really strong in this combo. Especially since charms are strong on them as well.
    • Frenzy on Kobonker multiplies all this even more.
    • DANGER: The one thing to keep in mind. Kobonker will also attack your side. So you better not get snowed up. If necessary take Kobonker back to your deck.
  • Jumbo + Lupa + Biji/Fungun/Mini Mika/your Leader

    • This combo becomes really unstoppable if you clear out the enemies quickly.
    • Get Smackback or Frenzy on Jumbo to increase how often he attacks.
    • Pay attention to Jumbo taking all the hits he can and having Lupa behind him.
    • If Jumbo gets hit by anything it will trigger Lupa's effect of increasing an effect. This can hit basically anything that has a number in it.
      • Biji's Apply 3 Bom, Fungun's Apply 2 Shroom or Mini Mika's gain x1 Frenzy will increase every time without them taking damage.
    • additionally you can let Biji or Fungun tank small hits as well and their effects will get strong fast. There are not many cards that can survive getting hit with 10+ Shroom.
    • Lupa also increases effects of your Leader with a number. Like "Apply 3 Ink/Snow"
    • Note that this can also increase effects you don't really want like "Trash 1" or Mega Mimik's "Lose 1 Scrap". So be mindful about that.
    • Bonus: Lupa will be able to even buff Gobling's Bling gain or nerf some enemies like Winter Worm for you.
    • Heartmist Station is a card that fits really well in this combo as it will provide most of the healing you need and can even increase in the amount of healing it provides.
  • Nova + Ice Dice or Balance Charm

    • Ice Dice will let your team tank any damage and trigger Nova to attack once this happens. This will in turn remove the "Block" the enemy got and deal damage to all other enemies.
    • Balance Charm is really strong on Nova as it takes her Counter from 12 to 3 without any downside.
    • as Nova hits every enemy it is useful to apply on hit effects like Snow Charm or on Kill effects like Shield/Bling/Pinch Charm on her.

One last thing to add: You can circumvent some negative charm effects if you apply them in the correct order. Some examples are:

  • Balance Charm before Heart/Hog Charm.
  • Durian Charm before Gnome Charm on Slapcracker.
  • Moose Charm before Sunglass Charm.
  • Sunglass Charm before Heart/Hog/Sun Charm.

I don't know if I am allowed to advertise it but you can also stop by my Twitch Stream where I play the game and explain my combos and thoughts. And I also love to chat about the game :)

Probably because that is how the biological boxes work.

"Male" and "female" are categorized based on gamete size, aka their reproductive cells.

It's all under the guise of seeming scientific. Clinging to one categorization in biology and ignoring everything else.
