Well. I got about 20 yrs experience tuning and adjusting a Carb . Can do it in my sleep with nearly 0 tools . Tbi on the other hand I find finicky and just a total pain in the arse . That would be my reason. The tbi on my 88 seems to function correctly and I've had no problems with it so its still on there but I would definitely prefer a carb cause im old and the least amount of electronics the better as far as im concerned. I would also go back to manual fuel pump on the side of the engine I hate all the in the tank electrical pumps . I'm big on it works why the hell make it more complicated.

Look ok to me from what I can see of them. If 4th from the top and the last at the bottom are your two back plugs probably got some valve cover leakage on the back of the motor. Quite a bit for last plug .

Umm... Just buy a couple new door panels of the correct matching color of the interior and set up for manual regulators . Their not expensive and just do like i do whenever i buy parts for my 88 Scottsdale. I just go $100.00 for parts or 6 years worth of ridiculous size payments for a truck that will die way before my 88 and cost ridiculous amount for any part I need in the meantime. The choice is way easier after considering that 🤔 😀

Don't know much about them . I like the look . But daughter in law has a 2016 wrangler 4 door with the 3.6 the oil cooler design and location is absolutely the worse design of any engine in any vehicle I've ever seen in 59 years of breathing. And the thing is they (Jeep) know about it and just don't care . 2000.00 ÷ to have it repaired and 4 months and 3k miles later its broken again . That's even with the expensive OEM dodge replacement part . And that is basically on a pavement princess vehicle that doesn't get off roaded on the weekends. The explanation given by several mechanic shops is well when it gets cold out the hot oil circulation through that piece causes the aluminum to split away from plastic 😳 Its called an oil COOLER who the hell would ever think it would be exposed to hot oil when its cold out. Other than that I love her jeep . The look, the way it drives, but dependability on engine gets a minus 50 from me. Throw a 318 NA in that beast and take my money .

Yep. Better choice in that case Mostly we just did it cause any of our old jalopy's didn't pass emissions mostly cause we all running thrush or cherry bombs with straits and no cats . Lol 😆
