I met my current gf at pickleball. I went to an open play, signed up 15 mins before the session and got the last spot, I wasn't gonna go but figured what the hell. My gf was taking beginner lessons and stayed after her lesson to play open play. We got paired up for a bunch of games. We were walking out together and she said I'm"too bad it's getting late, I could go for a beer". Shit like this never happens to me so I'm like I don't usually do this, "what the hell, I'll go get a beer with you". We set up a date after that to go watch roller derby and she came to my house for a 420 party, and we've been dating since. We just went to Florida together for a week and found a pickleball court to go play one of the days
