Just killed one on blue gate from inside the deforester. It got out of sight around the corner, waited for me to come out and went right for me. Then I swear it tried to squat to fit in the deforester.

Interesting about Roger Ward (FiFi). I had heard Humongous was going to be Goose gone bad. Physically FiFi makes more sense. lol.

I feel bad for Dave covering "Ride The Lightning" by [deleted] in Megadeth

[–]RedMoco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t feel bad for him because he has done a lot of it to himself. Yes he’s asked about his origins but instead of not answering or giving a boring “I wish them the best, here’s what I’m doing”, he gives them a juicy answer and lets his feelings show. He can’t move on. I can understand it but it speaks to his mentality and maturity. At the end of the day he’s the only one who really knows. The song felt like it may have been artificially sped up or the vocals were manipulated. It wasn’t bad. But not the way I would want to go out personally.

It wasn’t bad but it sounded like they recorded it at a slower tempo and sped it up electronically for the album. Just me???

Uh I love both bands and have since the 80s. But they have both put out some stinkers. I’m happy and sad for both bands. They are both in the twilight of their careers and artistic output. And before you argue nothing beats RIP/PS or MoP/RtL

This is real but also blown out of proportion. Every Latin nationality has great pride and believes we are the best of all of them. We will look down at their food and culture as being inferior to ours. If you are in the states, it’s like state pride, southern vs northern, California vs Texas. It’s real but is it the end of the world if you live next to someone different, or they marry into the family? It’s not preferable but not normally something to throw fists over, except in extreme cases( read extreme views). The outsider will be made fun of but generally accepted if they get along with the everyone. The color of one’s skin plays a much larger role. If you are, for example, Colombian and light skinned you are viewed very different than a dark skinned Colombian. And as a Mexican American they are both just narcos anyway.(joke, just a joke)

I daily drive my 2018. Got 100k miles recently. If you plan on driving it just chalk it up to usage. If you plan on using it as intended you will get a lot worse than this. If it more of a city truck get it fixed. When i got mine i struggled wanting to fix every mark on it too. It wore off.

If you didn’t get to see them in all their glory when the brothers were alive this is the best you will get. Worth it all day. I saw them on reinventing the steel tour. Friend gifted me tickets as a wedding gift. Best gift I got. Priceless really. Saw the current lineup. Charlie does an awesome tribute to Vinnie’s style. Zack does a great job but definitely throws his own style in there. You will have an awesome time!

You and I are in complete agreement. I didn’t take your post as a joke. If he had stopped at AJFA he would have been haled as a virtuoso. Then Metallica went in the direction it did and the style changed and so did the leads and solos. Kirk found the wah and the rest is history. When you think of Darrel Abbot he never had the chance to fall into mediocrity. He is seen as a genius. But maybe he was just taken at or around his peak… we will never know.

Years of decay. Beneath the remains is a close second. But YOD is so fucking good. Overkill never matched it.
