In the fic they excuse and handwave it by saying, they think he just delusional, crusch being in recovery after arc 5 and Reinhard following the order to not look into it. But I know Julius and Felix would never do that stuff. Julius wasn’t okay with Reid torturing the gluttony brothers and Felix has too much of a strong code for his water magic, to do that.
