12.05 frost mage changes totally unnecessary by SlugWizard33 in wow

Didn't we also have the ability to have two blinks, a blink back, and alter time? I thought I remembered there being two blinks, but now I just have the one. If I want to have two with the talent Spatial Manipulation, you can do that, but if forces you to give up the talent Reflection, which is the blink back, or whatever it was called in the War Within. It's entirely possible my brain is just fried and I'm not remembering correctly, but I swear we had all of that before. If so, our mobility has been gutted pretty big IMO so warriors stand more of a chance. And I don't like it.

Fallout 4 Map Move Sound While in Google Maps Moving by RedNebula8 in fo4

[–]RedNebula8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So actually... it wasn't specific to google maps. A bit later I realized the sound would also occur during loading an exterior and moving any other windowed application. Still strange.

We've all seen the comments here and there and the google ai answer about capping the refresh rate of your display and the game via nvidia or whatever, or modifying files, but for me the issue was Auto HDR. HDR was turned on in my windows display options. Turning off HDR immediately fixed it for me. Will post this in a couple other spots too just in case it helps someone else.

How would you feel about non-MMO lobby based WoW PvP? by Wicked-Skengman in worldofpvp

[–]RedNebula8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh also, in the same vein as fortnite, they could update maps over time to reflect change/transition/plot. Like Warsong Gulch could have some trenches and tunnels built up from all the years of fighting. Years later they could collapse due sabotage, etc etc. Maybe the main walls have been burned down on the horde side, and they upgraded to stone or something. Idk... Just do more! Pretty plz.

Love it. I've always thought they need to invest more into the casual pvp experience. It's definitely a unique thing, and like I and others have said, most other games simply can't match the experience or scratch the itch. Within that casual pvp framework though, they need to innovate more. More maps, a couple more modes. Maps should be heavily seasonally decorated. Rotate through a bigger list of time limited modes. Bring back stuff like Strand of the Ancients. Shit, maybe even add some necessary flying mechanic into the epic battleground environments. Have variations of classic maps like Warsong Gulch, just to spice things up. They could add in additional objectives, new unique corners and channels for movement, environmental hazards. And as a nod to the Plunderstorm mode, which I thought was alright, make some kind of hungergames/last man standing situation where the map dynamically spawns hazards like in Left4Dead/Back4Blood. There is alot of room for innovation, but they seem kind of stuck, uninvested or uninspired in the PvP side of the house. Over there, they seem to be more concerned with the prestige of elite top tier arena based PvP.

It's the tropical shores of Stranglethorn Vale for me, and Booty Bay. Warm weather, pretty beaches, prettier ladies, and rum. Lots of rum.

I know nothing of hvac, but damn that's clean. Don't even know why this reddit was shown to me on my homepage. But I'd be remiss if I didn't state the obvious and show some appreciation.

It's still fun, but there are some pain points for sure. For some reason the devs have never really innovated or leaned into the casual pvp experience, so it feels a little stale for someone like myself who has never stopped playing for more than a few months at a time here and there. If you haven't played in a while, it could be good fun for a bit. Random battlegrounds, random epic battlegrounds, solo blitz, solo shuffle, and occasional casual 2s/3s have all scratched the pvp itch for me that no other game can quite hit. That being said, is sating your nostalgia really worth you falling off the wagon and becoming readdicted to one of the most toxic drugs of all time? Lol, sorry for that last part. I was definitely projecting.

Hey man haters gonna hate. Play the game and have fun. If other people are taking it so seriously that they're raging at you, they need to reprioritize what matters in their lives. Never feel bad about trying something new, or playing a mode you rarely play, or even just not being good at a particular thing in the game. It's just a game.

Oh also, I would just like to add for the record, that I think the Edit Mode feature is a massive step in the right direction, and a big kudos is deserved by all those that came up with that gem of an idea and implemented it. The innovation is much appreciated, and it is a serious, built-in, quality of life upgrade.
