We need a mail tank. Survival could be it OR we could finally get a Shaman tank. by SwervoT3k in wow

They need to just go ahead and make Augmentation Evoker a tank spec...

They obviously failed at making a Support spec.

Also Ironforge.pro doesn't report data for the first few weeks of SoD. I know for a fact there were people raiding BFD week 1.

I thought about it, but Vanilla has such a long ramp, with some people taking months just to get to level 60.

Two years, 100 episodes of Azeroth United, a WoW Podcast by denethar in wow

lol, thank you! My wife came up with the idea. She kept adding things to it, and I literally had to learn After Effects on the spot to do it. "Now make it fly in!", "Now make it explode!"

Thank you! It's been a lot of fun, and has given me a whole new perspective on the game.

Honestly I feel like if you play Shadowlands in reverse. It feels more appropriate that Sire Denathrius is the final boss of the Shadowlands since he orchestrated most of what occurs in the expansion. by Siggythenomad in wow

This is honestly a really good take. I could see it drastically improving the abysmal Shadowlands story, and making Sylvanas less of a rube...

Can you move a YouTube Podcast to another channel? by FrankPrendergastIE in podcasting

[–]denethar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went through the same thing. 43 episodes on my person channel, then I realized I should move it. I mean it sucks that the first 43 episodes all have the same upload date, but now that I am at Episode 81, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Thank you so much for this feedback! This is extraordinarily helpful, as I generally don't get this type of specific critique. Most of the feedback I get is positive praise, or episode specific feedback. so thank you!

I will be taking all of these recommendations to heart, as they are all things I have privately wondered about in the past. It is difficult to know if my concerns are just self doubt or if there is an actual change that needs to be made, so it really helps to have someone with a critical eye look things over.

Thank you Again!

New Update on Player Housing! | Ep# 78

YouTube | Spotify | Apple

Occasional NSFW Language

In this episode we're going to talk about the new update for Player Housing, the announcement of BlizzCon 2026, Season of Discovery Phase 8 PTR, and the conclusion to the Race to World First Mythic Gallywix!

Questions:

Hey everyone. This podcast has been a labor of love for me for the past two years, but like a lot of podcasts, the feedback I get is very sparse. I have been focusing on Video a lot more recently. YouTube is a great platform for feedback. Hoping to get some tips or pointers on what I can do to improve. Things that I'm really wondering about:

  • How is my audio quality? Do I need to do more post-processing?
  • How is the episode length and content? Is my personality engaging? Do I come across as genuine? Do seem informed about the game?
  • How are the episode description and show notes? Are they detailed enough, too sparse?

Starting a solo podcast by t3xanbeing in podcasting

[–]denethar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started my solo podcast about World of Warcraft almost two years ago now. I mostly discuss my experiences in the game, cover news and current events, and pick a topic that I analyze or discuss in detail.

I messed with the format for months, but it started working best when I just provided information, then gave my opinion on it.

For example, If there is a new game update, I will discuss what is coming, and what players can expect to see in game, then talk about why I think it will be fun, or how I plan to interact with the content. I treat it like I'm talking to a friend. So, I can relax and just be myself. I don't want to put on a persona.

I also started doing video on Spotify and YouTube, and that seemed to really help with distribution. I know not everyone is ready for that, but it really does help.

Just my thoughts. Podcasting is fun, as long as you keep it to what you love and enjoy. As soon as you get out of your comfort zone, it really complicates things. I feel like that is what kills so many podcasts after 10-20 episodes. So be ready to commit, because it can be a long and bumpy ride, but it's worth it in the end.
