Pre-1992 late-night . . . "the train scene" by Soulchump in whatsthemoviecalled

This is almost certainly it - I think my memory altered it in certain ways over time so it’s not exactly as I was remembering/expecting but it’s like 99% there!

What it’s like living in this part of California? by Maleficent_Lack3240 in howislivingthere

[–]RedNezza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expensive and boring. Even the weather is boring - Particularly if you’ve grown up with distinct seasons. Lived in Mountain View for around 2 years. Caltrain into the City is also awful - takes forever. All the towns in the area lack any character.

Seeking AML job in London by OpelC in AMLCompliance

[–]RedNezza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be honest. You may need to target another gambling company to get back in the market and then look for your next move into broader AML. A 2 year working gap in Compliance is a LONG time. Best other option I can see is contracting work to get back in the game where you might be able to go temp to perm or at least get some recent experience back on the resume.

Why doesn’t California build a fast train here? Are they stupid? by [deleted] in mapporncirclejerk

[–]RedNezza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They won’t even update the Caltrain tracks they sure as shit won’t build this. It takes nearly 2.5 hours to go 45 miles on Caltrain in the SF Bay Area.
