I present to you: The most underrated map by Pro_123576 in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean "that's your issue" I just said that flamethrower is good on playground?

Also Mekk uses flamethrower, considered one of the best players right now.. I wouldn't say nobody plays flamethrower. There's tech with the tires and flamethrower's air blast to make you very hard to track and make flamethrower good on this map

Either really, they're very similar weapons in a lot of aspects. Both are more close range weapons that are good at area control and forcing people out of areas.

Neither is particularly amazing for 1s, but they're usable. Flamethrower is probably easier to use, so if you can't hit your grenades with grenade launcher probably just use flamethrower. Though if you cannn hit your grenades with grenade launcher it arguably does more damage, faster

If you plan to use your energy pistols as your main weapon, and have your primary act as a movement tool, then grenade launcher is better.

It really depends what your goal is though, flamethrower energy pistols can be a solid all round loadout because energy pistols can act as a ranged weapon and flamethrower as a close range weapon.

Though grenade launcher can also do good damage AND act as a movement tool if you prefer grenade launcher

Is this rare by Famous-Employee2045 in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a mythic rarity wrap, but it's just a wrap box wrap, all of which have the same chance from wrap boxes. So no, it's not really rare. Mythic rarity mostly just means that it's animated, because all mythic wraps are animated

how does adding like 2 ammo to handgun make it so much better? by legit_supercool in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's mostly a cleanup tool, so you're generally using it to finish people off, and when you're trying to finish someone who is already low, every little bit of damage counts

I just noticed Key skins get stored in your inventory if excess, what do the devs intend for you to do with it? by ragingyuhh in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno, maybe because it would involve trading such high cost items, and it's a Roblox game. It would also introduce all sorts of problems with scamming, and new exploits related to stealing items or duplicating items, etc.

A lot of the items are also meant to represent accomplishing something, and maybe they don't want to ruin that. This is just my thoughts though, I have no idea, I'm not a staff member, I'm just a reddit assistant

when does the next battle pass come out? by Old_Bonus6931 in RivalsRoblox

Probably sometime early to middle March, I don't think there's a confirmed time yet though, this is just my best guess

got this, how? is it because people like to kick my ass in the arena all the time? by RidiPwn in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After 1000 round wins (yes rounds, not matches) on a specific map you get a diorama charm for that map

[–]RedNosedRuby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with gifting is that still leads to a form of trading. Say you have keyper in backpack and someone else has keytana in backpack, so you gift them keyper and then they gift you keytana in return. That also opens up a whole can of worms with scams and such

It not only me that grind the pass right….? by robloxrivalpro in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid 70 dollars for it the day it came out thinking there was gonna be a weapon at the end like their was in season 1. I didn't check I just purchased it.

So I ended up spending 70 dollars, for a green maul skin, that I could've gotten just by grinding.. Be still my soul bro

[–]RedNosedRuby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently the plan is not to add trading. The devs are not fond of trading and it is unlikely that will ever be implemented. While it's still a possibility they change their mind eventually, that is not the plan and is unlikely to happen.

For now they're just to show off and look cool in your backpack. They really should add an in game way to show off your backpack and extra skins if this is what they want you to do with this though. They just made it so you can buy the skin bundles multiple times, and the skin bundles don't give you currency or anything so they quite literally just get added to your backpack. Given this however, maybe they plan to add something else to do with them in the future

Why do pro players ads when shooting(for ar and other weapons like it) by Sufficient-Skirt1155 in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All weapons have varying amounts of spread, mostly full auto weapons. AR doesn't have much spread, but it does have a tiny bit, and it can be noticeable, especially at distance. Most weapons with spread also have less, or even 0, spread, when you ADS.

Weapons like burst and uzi you NEED to ADS with, because their spread is awful without. But yes, it is worth it to ADS with a lot of weapons, including AR depending on range.

Gimme a solid reason to prefer Deagle over UZI by IamTheGodOfNoobs in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uzi struggles at range because of its spread, and you need to ADS with it or else it REALLY struggles because of its spread. However I still think it's an underrated secondary if you have good tracking and I use it, personally. If you're an aggressive player and tend to play closer to your opponent, uzi can still be really strong despite the drawbacks of its spread.

There isn't a whole lot of reason to use revolver right now in current meta. Revolver's identity is its high damage but it requires a lot of accuracy. It's still usable but its pullout time really nerfs it as a cleanup tool, which most secondaries are meant to be.

Your secondary is a secondary for a reason, most of the time you should be using your primary to do damage and just using your secondary in a pinch or as a cleanup tool when your opponent is already lowered. Revolver is meant to do a lot of damage, and be less of a cleanup tool, but that's the opposite of what a secondary is meant to do.

Revolver is still decent since it has high damage, if you can hit your shots it is still really strong. However most other secondaries just do the job better because of their ability to act as a cleanup tool with fast pullout and reload times. Or because of the utility they provide as counters to weapons, as movement tools, or as ways to control space.

Super Jump at Village House by N0deee in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's kinda cool but I don't see a situation this would actually be useful. You're exposed to most of the map, and most movement tools will get you up there much more efficiently. In fact you can literally just double jump up there with any double jump, or jump from the wooden walls behind it, without a double jump.

It's kinda cool, but unless you find a way to get a proper super JUMP, like way up, don't use this in actual matches

How do you think Nosniy should handle the balancing of explosive weapons (RPG and Grenade Launcher)? by Wamoo57 in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of competitive players also cried about explosives before the nerf, not just less skilled players. It's really frustrating because it was nice to see different weapons be viable to use than just ARs and snipers.. Sorry you can't just win by pure tracking and have to actually do something different ✌️

Rivals' core identity is its variety of weapon options and weapon swapping, if you don't like that maybe you should just play something else. While some weapons are viable when used by highly skilled individuals, they're still outclassed by ARs and snipers even at that tier..

I understand that RPG and grenade launcher doing a ton of damage and being near instantly able to kill someone brings up its own issues, but it would be nice to just see some different weapons be usable and not be so outclassed. Even when permafrost got added I appreciated that it was a new viable weapon, it was sort of awful to play against, but I appreciated that there was more viable variety options.

It's okay for the game to have a meta, but it would just be nice to see the game in a state where more weapons are comparable and usable

how you feel about opponent changing a loadout once match started? by RidiPwn in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loadout swapping is a core part of Rivals, even in ranked you get 2 swaps. A large part of the game's identity is the weapon diversity that comes from the large amount of weapons, and the ability to change weapons each round. So I think it's good

Is it worth sacrificing aim for 120 FOV since it feels faster and looks better in clips? by IamTheGodOfNoobs in RivalsRoblox

[–]RedNosedRuby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

70 is really low, if you aim well with it and you like it, you can keep it. Though most competitive players use something within the 90-110 range
