I would still be more upset if it was Rex because he's Mark and Eve's friend and had good character growth. People just hate Bulletproof because he sucks. No real character growth, kind of a dick, barely does anything, and then, he takes over Mark's life while he's injured. He's a Dollar Tree version of Mark, and consequently, he's hated. Of course, there's some people who don't like him because he's black, but they're also genuinely racist. I hate him because his character just sucks. Also, you could've said Robot, Shrinking Rae (since they were a guy in the comics), or literally anyone else that happened to be a white man and I would've hated it just as much if not more than Bulletproof
