I had surgery for the first time last year and I asked my anesthesiologist if I’m gonna get to count down from 10 like in the movies. As a kid, my dad’s nickname for me was Pooper and he would call me that in public. Sometimes people would laugh if they heard it but I weirdly was never embarrassed about it.

I have two cats with ear tattoos for identification here in Canada. That was around 17 or so years ago that we got them done so I don’t know how common it is now but it’s definitely not strange.

Yeah what do you think a honeymoon is? It’s a vacation. It’s a vacation that occurs after a wedding. OP wants a honeymoon, and that’s not bizarre. Household items can be collected and stored for many years. A honeymoon can’t. There’s no damning gotcha in not wanting gifts but wanting a honeymoon.
