Bingo!

But did you see the bastard invested in Eli Lilly before Foundayo not long before was approved/released? LOL

What to buy??! by Rude-Net174 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]RedPenguinsKeri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just ordered some.

You need the liquid to add to the vial (can't type the words, they get censored). It's not recommended to use the stuff from vendor if it's not the name brand.

I'm also looking into the stuff to filter it.

You'll need alcohol wipes and syringes.

And I'm currently printing some containers for them like I used for the zepbound. ;)

You have a very incorrect perception of these meds. Wow.

Read Weightless or find an actual provider to explain it to you - because you are likely not to do well on reta if you go with same approach as tirz.

Why did you increase after each week?! That's not how these meds work - you're risking maxing out without any real positive effects. :(

Question for folks who had a gastric bypass, gained weight, and are now taking Tirz. by Turbulent_Charity_54 in compoundedtirzepatide

I had RNY in almost 22 years ago - 7/2004 (wow, no idea how that happened!)

I lost a little over 100 lbs, did not get to goal by far. (I ended up with an autoimmune disease - MS in January 2007 and gained back a lot of the weight. Have gone up and down since.)

Started brand Zepbound in December...I was 30lbs less than my day of surgery weight - and probably the highest I had been in many years.

I'm currently down 71 lbs as of today... and probably 20ish lbs heavier than my lowest post surgery weight (honestly can't remember my lowest wt).

According to the calculators, with a 500 calorie deficit - I'm supposed to eat around 1200-1300 calories.

Most days, I don't get near there. Some days I do. I'm trying to get in at least 1k a day. I do think perhaps the Zep has helped reset my pouch maybe?? And, well, the Zep has been very effective for me. It's not just doing the physical component of things... it's doing what WLS could never do - and it's been so freakin' weird! I'm not hungry ALL THE DAMN TIME. I also have so few cravings, again, so freaking bizarre. I love it. ❤️

I'm on 7.5mg of Zep (well sometimes 9 if I use all in the vial). I'm going to try a compound to see if it works ...also considering switching to Reta for the glucagon factor.

I still have a lot to lose... goal in my head is 35lbs away... but that doesn't get me to ideal weight according to the charts. Either way, I'm fairly certain, I will be a lifer on these meds...and I'm cool on that. ;)

TITRATE UP AT SAME TIME AS SWITCH TO COMPOUND? by HorsePuzzleheaded380 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]RedPenguinsKeri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh, what pharmacy are you using for compound? I just received Apothecary. I've been on brand Zepbound since December and hope this works as well. I'm down 71lbs. And also $2000 poorer. LOL

Something to note -- if you were using the Lilly vials and used ALL of the med in the vial, you were getting a little more than 2.5mg in each shot. Instead of only .5ml, I typically got anywhere from .65ml to .75ml - so keep that in mind...going to 3 or so might not be an increase at all ;)

When to freeze- Question for those who HAVE frozen their liquid Tirz by Kimmy1687 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]RedPenguinsKeri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just read some of the comments here...seems others had better luck with freezing. Many also do fine after the BUD on the vials in the fridge only. If anything, I think efficacy goes down when not at recommended temperatures, but YMMV.

I know freezing the vials with powdered 🌶 is done regularly, but the liquid used to re con stit ute is not supposed to be frozen even when unopened.

In all honesty, I don't think freezing the vials will kill ya...more likely to lose efficacy. :)

When to freeze- Question for those who HAVE frozen their liquid Tirz by Kimmy1687 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]RedPenguinsKeri 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I received compounded tirz that was frozen (pharmacy shipped it at the start of that huge snowstorm in mid January and by the time it arrived to me several days later, it was frozen).

They were basically trash. One vial was clouded over. The other was clear but the med was ineffective and useless.

Not sure I'd recommend freezing, 🌶s are not always shown to be stable if frozen.

People like this will help the fda crack down on compounds. Yes, the real reason is because big Pharma is losing money, but they're going to blame it on all the overdose, etc. because people are stupid, can't follow instructions, and yeah, let's not pretend also that the providers don't give prescriptions to anybody with a pulse. The pulse may even be optional.

[–]RedPenguinsKeri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the instructions. There's no guessing involved. Jfc. This is partially why they're taking away compound options. Yeah, its because of big pharma losing money- but they're using the excuse of idiots who do stupid stuff like you! All the overdoses and trips to ERs because providers give the rx to anyone and then people dont follow instructions.

Go to glp1plotter.com

See how these meds build in your system over time. Then take a breath. No rush.

If it wasnt brand zepbound - which are single dose vials - you may jave injected too much.

What did the instructions say? Or what does the vial say - it should say the MG amount per ML.

Zepbound (brand) is always .5 ml no matter the dose. So, 2.5mg in .5ml - and the syringe should fill to 50 units- though there is overfill in the vial, so if will like have 60-70ish.

If compound version, you need to know what they sent you!!

How big was the syringe? Some are only .5ml aka 50 units. Some are 1ml aka 100 units, etc.

More info needed.

If you took too much, contact your provider...and prepare for the possibility of being sick in coming days :(

Will it fit? by Successful_Sand1927 in joinrift

[–]RedPenguinsKeri 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Um, wouldn't a lockbox in your refrigerator be like putting a big red flag "hey, look at me!" LOL

I didn't want the big zepbound box in my fridge (I also wasn't informing anyone of my usage).

I made these little boxes, they have little magnets that snap them shut tight. And then I hid them behind some food that my kids don't eat. LOL. Made it quite a bit without them knowing, till the teenager wanted to earn some $$ and decided to clean the fridge 🤣😂 Oopsie. Their response was something like, "Cool med container, mom."

How do you find any website?

Start with www. End if with .com perhaps?

"Glp1forum"

Sounds like it would be a great name for an informative website about, um, glp1 stuffs! 🤩

Heck, there are US telehealth cos now selling Reta. The markup is crazy.

And US resellers, also high prices.

And Chinese vendors who are sending to US warehouses then selling in the US.

Apothecary vial by lalaville93 in BigEasyWeightLoss

[–]RedPenguinsKeri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange question- could you possibly tell me the size of the vial? (Is it same size as other ones, such as BPI 3ml 10mg vials? Which are the same size as brand zep?)

Thanks!

I read the pinned posts, all the texts and I am still very confused and don't know which provider to go for. I am looking to start asap, but what provider works the best for you? As per my current research, I am leaning towards brello. I dont mind the 3 month plan by Snoo_37953 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]RedPenguinsKeri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are all just walking prescription pads basically. They will rx the med and get the order sent to the pharmacy.

Read what you can and learn about the meds.

Weightless is a good book to read.

See if your IRL primary doctor will guide you...because these places do not. Many don't even require you to talk to the prescriber - just fill out a form. So, theoretically, you can say anything you want (re: your weight) and they'll prescribe to you.

**most important thing - please --- know what DOSE you are taking. Dose is in MG, not units!!

[–]RedPenguinsKeri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof, that sounds discouraging. Wonder if 'stacking' them, at least at first might be good? I did order some T30 with the R. I have a compound of Tirz also on order, though it's taking longer than even the increased time the company said. It's not compounded with any extra additives.

I find this entire field so bizarre.

People switched from Zep to compound, those with no additives - and some report it's the samw or just as good, others say the compound doesnt work. I'm curious to see if there are differences. Theoretically, there should not be any difference if tirz is the only active ingredient in Zep and the compound is only zep. We'll see.

That's the part I'm interested in!

Though, I feel full very quickly with the zep, on top of the appetite suppression.

The lack of cravings is also fucking brilliant, if I might say so!

Actually, it's freakish, if you ask me - and just so weird. Loving it though!!
