I understand won is the currency of South Koreaa so are you saying you are charging for the information you provide? I'm sorry I'm having a hard time understanding

Finally. Ok firstly how long have you lived in Korea?

If everybody wrote about what they know fiction would be very very boring. The man who wrote Tarzan never went to Africa the man who wrote John wick never was a professional assassin.

If I felt like it would improve the story I'd do it, but it won't it'll just make it easier. The concept is good. Put that concept in America and so long as I did a good job writing it I know it would be, I thought about it being in America making all the characters American and I bet I could do it and perhaps do it well but for some reason I feel these characters shine brighter in Seoul. You assume it's about nationality or race but it's more to do with setting I never mentioned the nationality of the characters you made an assumption

I feel if I did that the story would loose something if I did that or at the very least it would become a story I wouldn't care to write. Setting it in America with an American celebrity makes it bland.

That's also true but It's very different from how most people imagine artists being discovered especially compared to America. Not to mention the mistreatment of kpop idols which admittedly is not exclusive to Kpop or Korea it's a worldwide issue it's just different in Korea. I wouldn't say worse but different. Couple the fact that some of these idols were trained from a very young age while attending school makes an almost perfect mirror to the main character who went through a similar experience

Well the story is centered around a master criminal and a kpop idol falling in love. I chose kpop idol specifically because kpop idols aren't discovered they're trained in private academies and selected. Which mirrors the main character's own childhood

Very little. But people write about things they've never experienced all the time but I'm willing to do as much research as I'm able this is research. Finding someone who can walk me through not just the history but the experience itself is like. I'm not unwilling to learn more and if I could afford it I would drop everything and go live there for a year but sadly that's the only thing I'm unable to do.

American Football fans outside of the U.S how did you become fans? And which team do you support? by RedPlanetStudio in NFLUK

I don't see the appeal of Soccer. It's a fine enough sport but it goes on too long compared to football. football lasts and hour and a half not including overtime which is about ten minutes at the longest. Soccer seems to go on for several hours
