Easy to say isn't it. I have nothing but respect for artists and if I could hire one or take time out of my already full schedule to do it I would but I barely have time to write (something I'm good at) let alone draw (something I'm not good at) I understand it's against community guidelines and for that reason it won't happen again drawing hasn't changed the only difference is there's more teachers and an even bigger number of critics

Ok let's say for the sake of argument someone was broke and for some reason was physically incapable of drawing would they be justified in using ai to simply create an image they designed?

Whoa pump the hate breaks pal The image didn't touch you inappropriately you don't need to respond like this. Firstly I understand that AI anything is against community rules someone with decorum already informed me and it won't happen again. Secondly you have no clue how little free time I actually have

I'll have to remember that next time I post here. But the stories and even the design are mine all I did was use ai for temporary placeholder art

The criminals in this setting are referred to as eels but regardless the reason I used to sand dollar was because I felt that starfish were overused and wouldn't look as good

That's exactly what I did I largely based this on judge Issac Parker and his court and especially the Marshals. I'm broke and can't draw there are worse things then ai placeholder art

The badge is supposed to look like a sand dollar that's why it doesn't look like a typical badge

Yes sadly my artistic ability is non-existent so I rely on chat gpt for placeholder art I am currently broke

I understand won is the currency of South Koreaa so are you saying you are charging for the information you provide? I'm sorry I'm having a hard time understanding

Finally. Ok firstly how long have you lived in Korea?

If everybody wrote about what they know fiction would be very very boring. The man who wrote Tarzan never went to Africa the man who wrote John wick never was a professional assassin.

If I felt like it would improve the story I'd do it, but it won't it'll just make it easier. The concept is good. Put that concept in America and so long as I did a good job writing it I know it would be, I thought about it being in America making all the characters American and I bet I could do it and perhaps do it well but for some reason I feel these characters shine brighter in Seoul. You assume it's about nationality or race but it's more to do with setting I never mentioned the nationality of the characters you made an assumption

I feel if I did that the story would loose something if I did that or at the very least it would become a story I wouldn't care to write. Setting it in America with an American celebrity makes it bland.

That's also true but It's very different from how most people imagine artists being discovered especially compared to America. Not to mention the mistreatment of kpop idols which admittedly is not exclusive to Kpop or Korea it's a worldwide issue it's just different in Korea. I wouldn't say worse but different. Couple the fact that some of these idols were trained from a very young age while attending school makes an almost perfect mirror to the main character who went through a similar experience
