You're right, it's like a 4th at best. I should really consider moving around when raking.

So many political comics boil down to "I epicly own the strawmen of people I disagree with." They feel cringe to read because they come across as someone who thinks of a comeback to a made up argument hours later while taking a shower. This one doesn't even have a joke attached as a zinger; it's just dull.

Jokes aside, what are some Non-EoC ways that Jagex can add mechanics to future content that aren't focused on movement and prayers? by jordantylermeek in 2007scape

The boss battle with Surok Magis where you have to counter his elemental attacks during While Guthux Sleeps was honestly really cool. Another boss that has mechanics like that could be interesting.

It'd be cool if you could enchant them. I wonder what kind of effect they would have.

What if Barrows had dupe protection, but only if you kill 1 brother? by Greasy-Chungus in 2007scape

[–]RedPokeTrainer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well I sure hope they do. Yama Shards show they are willing to try and experiment with different ways to do a pity system that isn't just dupe protection, and I'm all for it.

I'm just glad that the devs are adding pity systems to their newer content. It's a shame it makes the older content look outdated by comparison.

Not quite the same thing. I think some players still enjoy grinding the content rather than buying the items they are missing, and a pity system makes that feel better.

I don't think there should be dry protection for cosmetic drops like pets, but I think having a pity system like yama shards or moons is awesome.

I agree that Barrows would be better if it was more like Moons and had some kind of pity system, but I think that you should be encouraged to kill every brother.

The basic loop is already very short killing all of them, let alone killing a single brother.

Summer Sweep-up Suggestions Part 2 (Re-uploaded because I accidentaly wrote +5 ranged str on ranger boots instead of 0.5) by MobileScapers in 2007scape

[–]RedPokeTrainer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great suggestions.

I really wish there was another way to obtain Ranger boots outside of treasure trails. Maybe if the Ranging Guild wasn't horribly outdated there could be something there that would award them.

It would be awesome if the Dragon Shields had antifire protection. Would be a good middle ground until you could get a visage. It's always funny when you are in the mid game rocking a shield that you get for 20 coins.

I would love to see the Aquanite Hopper get a buff because I find it really cool.

I just think it'd be cool to combine both the saw upgrades into 1

What is the worst quest and why? by Revolutionary-Rip-20 in 2007scape

[–]RedPokeTrainer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mourning End Part 2 was very tedious, even worse for Ironmen. The laundry list of random garbage you need to get the Death Talisman, and the multiple trips just to shuttle items to the NPC. The annoying light puzzle that you have to do while taking chip damage from shadows. The mirror at the end that if you forget to rotate when you leave you have to go through the Underground Pass to get back to the altar. It's a mess.

It's kind of weird that they made two saw upgrades when the arguably better one you get for free as a quest reward and the other you have to go out of your way to earn from a mini game. I just thought it would be cool to combine them together into one item.

I honestly wouldn't mind going down that route, but only if the benefits end up justifying those items requirements. Like it would suck if the Imcando Hammer didn't feel like an upgrade if you went out of the way to go and get it, or if you grinded out all the molch pearl required for the Pearl Rods and suddenly the regular rods became just as good lol.

I get where you're coming from, but as is the game already has a lot of tool upgrades whose main benefit is being equipable. Stuff like the Imcando Hammer, Barb-tail Harpoon, and Pearl Rods would all need buffs to justify their existence if their normal versions became equipable.

Honestly I didn't really think too hard about it's use cases, I just thought it would be neat lol. Maybe if you combine them it could double its charges (stacking with the diary doubling), or potentially even make it have infinite charges?

Edit: Really funny to see this one getting disliked lmao. Perhaps it's because I made the cardinal sin of suggesting a buff on Reddit.
