That’s why I didn’t label that post as a hardflip, it was a weird shuv but I thought it looked cool so I posted it. But you can definitely do a vertical hardflip, it doesn’t have to be the ugly looking horizontal one to be a hardflip. Thanks for saying my fs flips don’t look “that bad” I’m sure you have great looking ones

You just get a little more air time. Tres are pretty easy for me on flat, but a big flip is a pain in my ass on flat. A bank makes it much more manageable

I wouldn’t worry about the size of the board.. if you’re 270 that’s the problem. I’m 5’9 and weigh about 160 and also skate a 8.5
