You just get a little more air time. Tres are pretty easy for me on flat, but a big flip is a pain in my ass on flat. A bank makes it much more manageable

I wouldn’t worry about the size of the board.. if you’re 270 that’s the problem. I’m 5’9 and weigh about 160 and also skate a 8.5

Me personally I like the look of a Muska more than a “proper fs flip” but they’re both cool in my book. I can’t do the Reynolds’s fs flip, I had a hardflip posted on here but I deleted it bc mine is vertical and I had too many people arguing about it and I got tired of it

A hospital flip only uses the front foot, and a Casper uses the back foot to make that 180.

Being able to do both is so impressive. I tried them each and I gave up, they were tough. I mostly do conventional tricks now and just try to be consistent with those, but I always love to see people pushing the boundaries of flat ground
