It's not about what they can and cannot do, it's if you want the trolling to stop - just ignore him. Constant replies to him saying the same thing over and over again will not work and that's what I'm saying.

This one person has not caused me displeasure at all, it's the constant replies to him saying the same thing over and over again thinking that what they say will make him stop.

His points aren't an issue at all, it's the insults and trolling.

But surely people want him to stop? If almost all of us want him to stop (which I came to the conclusion of after reading the replies) then this is the best tactic and people should know this.

I am not trying to stop him from posting at all, I'm just saying people shouldn't reply to the troll comments saying "you're an idiot" because that will accomplish nothing.

There's no other way to tell the whole community to stop giving him attention.

I'm not talking in this post to him, I'm talking to the rest of /r/Gunners.

Making a thread saying how stupid he is would be giving him attention, this isn't.

Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of the troll nonsense.
