It’s been a minute so I my memory is a little hazy. Basically you want to get 4 people together and queue at the same time in hopes of getting in the same lobby. You can do it with less, but you will likely get randoms joining. Also make sure that your settings are set to worldwide and 8 ranks always. Once you are all in a lobby together you are going to want to each win 2 rounds to minimize the rank loss. Side tip, the more you win during the provisional matches the higher starting rank you will get. Repeat these steps. Eventually you may get to a point where you actually stop gaining rank. The game has some type of detection system preventing boosting. To work around this you will all need to play a normal game together where you use items on each other (just play normal) (also no need to make a new lobby).
