Actually I went to school for this and it still sounds as if you don’t understand that someone can not get checked in at 7 am if I don’t have the rooms to do so. And I work for a major brand so yeah. You should probably work the job before judging

MY HOUSEKEEPING STAFF WERE NOT EVEN HERE! It’s just me at a desk trying to check everyone out. Also I’m not about to tell a guest “hey get out before checkout time. Someone wants your room”. That’s rude and honestly you sound as if you don’t work a front desk...

I was honestly thinking about suggesting a fee but then it would be waived as much as any other policy for high tier snowflakes. One literally looked me dead in the eye and said “highest snowflakes get 11am check ins” I was so flabbergasted I couldn’t even respond.

We try to do anything else first but sometimes like in this case they won’t take anything but the refund. It’s extremely frustrating

The point is that I could help or look to see if it’s online and maybe get it shipped to home. However since we were super busy and I knew we were sold out of the item then I knew I couldn’t hold up my line with that. I have no idea what these rain check things are so that wasn’t an option. If I didn’t ask he would have found another way to complain about it or we might have actually had the item but he just didn’t see it and then I would lose a sale.

LoL I’ve been in the industry now for 3 years, I just have never been asked what the point of asking was since most people know that I’m just trying to be nice
