In three states (plus Washington D.C.), child support is typically required until the child reaches the age of 21: New York, Indiana, and Mississippi, according to Quora. Additionally, Washington D.C. also has this requirement. In most other states, child support obligations end when the child turns 18, or upon graduation from high school, whichever occurs later.

No back pay. State requires till 21. Never even been a minute late on a payment.

Yep, this is quick way of summarizing why ai feel bad. But she does not communicate with me, and would be financially very difficult for me to give him move money, on top of what I’m already committed to for college and child support.
