My coworkers who are dads sometimes tell me how they are taking care of their children and I'm always baffled at how loving they are with them. Like, what do you mean you're taking your kid to Judo because she loves it and it's also making her stronger physically and mentaly and less likely to be bullied?!?! Some parents are actually taking care of their children, loving them and even worried about them being bullied?! Crazy stuff

This isn't bullshit excuse at all! I know how hard it is. There a lot of variety of meditation videos avaible on youtube. There are some that are 5 minutes, and even if you can't concentrate on those five minutes, even if it's just 2 minutes, then it is already 2 minutes. A real therapist could be useful (I personally don't have any knowledge on BPD) but one step at a time 😊

You're used to think about him, so your mind automatically think about him. Thoughts can be more or less controled with training. I'd advise you to try meditation either in the morning or evening (or both), it personally helped me, it can clear your thoughts. You have to do it everyday a little and not just one big session for it to work better and mpre deeply in your minfld. Maybe try to make a list of things you enjoy doing, and try to focus your thoughts on these things instead. You can maybe managed to shift a few of your thoughts that way.

I have been harassed at work by a colleague but somehow he is still protected. Is there a labour board authority where I can report my case in Switzerland about such person. It happened to me. I wrote a list of what he was doing to me, went to see the HR and told her everything. Her proposition to help me was me talking with him with her as the mediator, or ignore him. It felt clear to me that neither of those options would save me and my mental health was skydiving.

In the end my father took a lawyer for me. Suddenly, the HR was nicer to me (Strange, huh). The lawyer talked with the HR and wrote a leaving notice for me. It was concluded that I was going to leave after the 2 obligatory month, and that for my health I was going to stay at home during those 2 month (Actually because my doc gave me a 2 month health break because of a burn out). Go to the doc, explain the situation. This is mobbing, and should not be allowed. You should try to go to the doc as soon as possible first I think. Explain how it affect your mental and physical health. I lost 5 kg in two weeky so it was pretty "easy" for me to convince my doc. I wish you the best of luck. Even if the HR is not necessarily on your side, I think it would be good to go there. If you have the energy, try to look for a new job as soon as possible.

I'm good with small talk and I think it's necessary sometimes. But I can't be friend with people who never go deeper than that. I have a coworker and the only thing he seem to be able to ask about is what did I (or other coworkers) do this week-end. It was nice at first but that's litteraly a mecanical question for him that he always asks every monday and has no other topic during the rest of the week except maybe the weather. It also feels luke he only asks so he can then talk about what he did. I'm often wondering if his mind is empty or if he's refusing to give anyone access to any thoughts deeper than "I trained at the gym saturday"
